A hydrophobic coating helps with visibility. Your phone has a oleophobic coating to reduce fingerprint smudges.how could glass benefit from a chemical coating?
All windows except the front windshield (?) have a hydrophobic coating by default if memory serves.interesting if it's the Coating cuz that stuff is the truth!! I was thinking about doing my glass with a graphene coating as well...
I had ceramic coating applied before I’d even picked up the car, and it’s never juddered like that. It’s supposed to provide extra glide after all, not extra friction. Perhaps replace your wiper places for those recommended earlier in this thread and see if that improves it?I had a ceramic coating applied to the windshield as soon as I got the car and didn't get a chance to see the wipers in action before coating.
Do you guys think that's what's causing them to judder?
I have the same issue. Hoping to get them replaced.I had a ceramic coating applied to the windshield as soon as I got the car and didn't get a chance to see the wipers in action before coating.

I have tried both the Bosc and Rain-X wipers noted above.According to several different tests, reviews and several reddit posts those 2 seems to be the best choice:
1: Rain-X Silicon Endura (with water repellent capabilities)
and
2:Bosch ICON wiper blades
I'm getting my 4S in a couple of months and most likely I'll also replace them before winter comes.
Hope I helped.
