One notable difference between the two charging sessions though is that one was from August and the other from the last day of November. The higher ambient temperatures in August will provide much of the same benefit as pre-conditioning the battery and get you close to the ideal charging...

My understanding is that the car uses the 12V battery to power the outlet in the cargo area. Having said that, the car will top off the 12V battery using the HV battery as needed. Also, you cannot keep the outlet powered for more than 30 minutes when operational readiness is not established...
