Poor quality wiper blades

I have often wondered why wiper blade technology has never improved over the last 50 years. Doesn't the industry realize how important this? My 4S came with blades which were poor almost immediately, and of course have never improved over the past 6 months. And yes, I keep my windows scrupulously clean.
Does anyone have any suggestions for replacements? To buy the OEM from Porsche would just continue the problem.

According to several different tests,reviews and several reddit posts those 2 seems to be the best choice:
1: Rain-X Silicon Endura (with water repellent capabilities)
and
2:Bosch ICON wiper blades
I'm getting my 4S in a couple of months and most likely I'll also replace them before winter comes.

no issues with mine...
I got my 4S in december...and i live in a 4 season area. Wipers are as good as new.

I think the biggest factor with how well your wiper work, is if the car is garag kept or not

I had a ceramic coating applied to the windshield as soon as I got the car and didn't get a chance to see the wipers in action before coating.

I had my glass ceramic coated also; also almost immediately after delivery. I have not noticed this yet on my windshield but I have not yet been in any type of heavy rain. We only have heavy fog this time of year in the Bay Area, CA. I will keep an eye out for this.

It rained heavy today (atmosphere river) and I noticed the “judder” in action. Seems filmsy

go buy some new wipers...and if they act the same way, you know its the coating or glass...and not the wipers...
and you can just keep the extra for later

Before you polish off the coating on the glass, try cleaning the wiper blades thoroughly and then apply some WD-40 to them with a microfiber or paper towel. Don’t worry, it won’t leave a film on the windshield.

You can actually also clean the wiper blades with WD-40. It doesn't have to be a separate step from lubricating them.

interesting if it's the Coating cuz that stuff is the truth!! I was thinking about doing my glass with a graphene coating as well...

I had my car wrapped in PPF and everything (PPF, wheels, leather interior and exterior glass) ceramic coated. I haven’t had any problems with the wiper blades juddering.
