Mine was not wireless charging for my 15 Pro, and my wife’s 16 Pro, about 80% of the time. Since the software update I can basically throw my phone in the cubby and it wireless charges 90% of the time.
I have seen similar "adjustments" in longer range estimates since the update. I have also seen them self-correct to a lower milage after some time passes; but still above the normal published range.
Drove about 120 miles today, mostly highway; first long-ish trip since the software update. My air suspension and acceleration/deceleration... the ride feel is much much smoother and better than it was previously. Now it feels like a Porsche, to me. The wireless charging for the iPhone is now...
Software updated. Only a short ride home from the dealership, but the air suspension feels less “wobbly”, and the acceleration and deceleration are both much smoother. Not sure if those are software related in any way, but those changes were noticeable for some reason.
Porsche switching the parts out as a warranty issue. Parts on order. Tech confirmed these parts are easily switched out, as they just “clip” into place. Windshield does not need to be removed. It will be a “while you wait” repair/replacement when the parts arrive at the dealership next week.
I have this issue and it looks really bad. I asked the dealership about it while my 4 is in for the software update. This is a warranty issue according to Porsche. They are going to order the replacement parts.
Question now is, I assume the windshield needs to be removed to replace these...
Mine arrived this morning, November 24th, via FedEx (shipped 19 November from Atlanta.) Ordered it on September 30th. No notification was sent when it shipped. It is a very nice, robust, piece of hardware. Much heavier than I expected.
Received notification from the SA late Friday afternoon that the software update was completed but they wanted to hold it until Monday to see if there was any loss of battery % over that weekend timeframe, and other double-checks against my list of items I had at drop off last Wednesday.
Dropped off two days ago. App was in Privacy Mode all day yesterday. Back online today. Received a text yesterday evening that the software update was still in progress.
The exterior is definitely not doing anything for me; especially the front end. I do like the interior though. Macan EV is better looking, and better proportioned, design-wise. (my opinion)
1. I had previously bought a plastic clip to match the factory-provided clip on the other seat belt.
2. The Porsche "solution" of riveting a loop of seat belt material to the seat belt looks really bad, IMO.
Dropped off my Macan 4 for service today. Confirmed software update will be VR28.13. Cargo area cover to be replaced, and seat belt retainer clip added (I declined the seat belt clip scope.)
I will, yes. I had pushed off the service appointment a few times waiting for confirmation of the update availability here on the forums. When I called yesterday about my appointment I specifically asked about any open recalls for my vehicle. They checked using my VIN and informed me that a...
I have confirmed with the dealership that a big software update will be performed on my 2025 Macan 4 EV during my service appointment later this week. It was noted that it will take "most of the day" to update.
There are also two other "open" recalls for my car. The seatbelt clip retrofit...
I found that Marine Traffic websites were more accurate in real time than the Porsche app... several hours, if not more than a day ahead, in most cases.
Wow. This is even more concerning given all of the software issues brought up in the various threads. If a simple, basic, date/time switch can't be handled seamlessly and automatically and at the correct time, what does that say about the much more complicated and complex software programming in...
I have a slot scheduled for service on 19 Nov, but I may push it off again (already rescheduled once), until we hear more about the software update availability and scope here in the USA. Going to call the dealership this week to inquire about it and see what other recall campaigns are listed...
Update: This also happened to me yesterday... twice. All I needed to do was back the car out of the garage for a few minutes. The startup screen would not go past the "Porsche" screen... waited for a few minutes, turned car off, then tried again. Same thing. Third time it loaded past that...
