I booked an appointment on the 25th of August for the update.
Let’s see if it makes the suspension smoother.
For the rest I don’t really have to complain. Already 6000km in less than two months and really happy with this car.

I wonder how the software update is making the suspension smoother. I thought all it was really doing it setting height level.

Does it also definitely solve the 1% loss of SoC?
It has definitely for fixed it for me.

I've had 12 months since delivery of losing approx 1% per day. The 28.13 update in December made no difference.

Since the recent update in mid May my SoC has been rock solid with at most 1% being lost after 6 days of being left parked up and most times no SoC loss at all from the previous day or two.

What is the version of the software after the upgrade? Can someone take a photo and post it?

There appears to be no way to check the PCM to confirm software versions.

That's insane.. ok thanks.
100% agree, love for someone to find a way to view it. There is another thread where someone thought they found a way, and it even seemed to have a date coded that matched the original install date (2022 I think it was) - but as someone who had 100% for sure had the latest SQ5 update installed, the PCM version number and date code was the same as a car that had no updates does since delivery.

It's a bit like chasing a rainbow/unicorn to find a place to see the installed version numbers, but no one seems to have found a way or shared it. I suspect there is a hidden service menu that exists, but how to activate it has not made it to the internet yet.

Seems this update + all the changes from previous updates resolve all of the most annoying issues.

I'm super impressed they managed to solve this knocking sound over speed bumps - I guess in the end it's not "by design" as they bullshitted before, it's impressive something like that can be done with a software update.

I feel bad for all my frustration over the last year or so doing 50k kms in a car having constant problems, service staff looking at me like I'm crazy and finally having a recall campaign that solves these issues with a simple software update. It shows the PPE platform was rushed to the market and lacked support from dealers but in the end when refined this car next to Taycan are by far the best drivers EV on the market.

PS issues with assistance systems even when disabled affect driving/handling precision I've been having also confirmed by the dealer and I suspect will also have some kind of an update in the future.

Did you have the base 28.13 (non-SQ) version before this? I'm on that version and trying to figure out if it's worth it to go get SQ5.

Absolutely. SQ4 was already night and day, definitely get it. The standard update solved nothing for me.

The chime for speeding has changed, so that’s one way to tell the update was applied.

The previous update introduced 5G on the pcm. So it can be noticed.
