    NEW UPDATE: VR28.13 SQ5 Released June 29 2026

The SQ4 update was optional but the SQ5 is a global recall campaign WTA6. Just booked an appointment and confirmed the content of this update is exactly like this list mentioned here before. Dealer says it should indeed reduce the issue of sounds coming from front suspension.

Porsche Navigation versus CarPlay Navigation: Is there a clear winner?

It used to be this way but lately I find the Porsche nav makes questionable decisions - very often due to traffic data being not up to date. Anyway Porsche nav is the only way to go for battery preconditioning and charging planner so for longer trips it's the far superior.

    NEW UPDATE: VR28.13 SQ5 Released June 29 2026

I wonder if this could resolve cracking sounds coming from the suspension when driving over speed bumps.

    E-Shift on 2027 Macan?

You are missing the avarage speed of over 100 km/h over a very long trip of ~400kms. From my experience it means long periods of fast driving, you cannot maintain this speed that long. On my similar road trips (avg over 100 km/h over 300 kms) I get 24-26 kwh/100 at minimum. This is a very good...

    NEW UPDATE: VR28.13 SQ5 Released June 29 2026

At first my dealer told me there is no active campaign for this car and update has been applied. After I complained about issues and told them there is a new update they agreed to "check" and so far haven't come back.

    E-Shift on 2027 Macan?

Well there is this post on reddit with iX3 stats on highway and honestly it's world apart. Over 102km/h on avg during long 400km highway trip and 18,6 kWh is truly excellent.

    NEW UPDATE: VR28.13 SQ5 Released June 29 2026

Too bad there is no campaign for these minor updates (SQ4 / SQ5). There was for V28.13 but it was for the first revision of this software. Once you have this the campaign is done. You have to complain to your dealer to have these fixes applied.

Issue with app connection with the car

The newest SQ4 update to 28.13 seems to address this issue of keeping the connection between car and the mobile app, anyone can confirm?

    Suspension thud or sound

This is great, means it was indeed resolved in MY2026.

    Suspension thud or sound

Any speedbump or road imperfection (like a pothole) will do. Some make it worse than others but key is it happens after breaking.

    Suspension thud or sound

From the service center. If you have MY2026 - do you hear anything? This is the way Porsche describes how to check whether the noise complained about is caused by the anti-dive function. In the following driving situation, the noise is caused by the anti-dive function: • Approaching obstacles...

    Navigation updates

This is one of many arguments people make about this car's assistance systems being simply dangerous and causing risky situations on the road. This is not just one or two people, in some regions most users complain speed recognition does not work well.

    3 Months with MY26 M4

I think the "range hit" in 4S is insignificant compared to a very noticeable power boost. I agree about seats but on the other hand after 50k kms in my Macan with sport seats and club leather I find them a bit too firm for longer drives and to be honest with you my back started to hurt a bit -...

Could be covered under warranty ? Sun roof

Funny thing happened to me in almost the same spot. Could be birds who knows but the whole rubber part - you can feel it has deteriorated, it touch it's weathered/cracked after sun exposure.

    New VR28.13 SQ4 update

That's true and I agree with you it's hard to find anything better. Which is not saying much about the car market in general. This is why I ordered GTS as a replacement. I'm honestly not expecting much though - just pease let me connect my app reliably to the car (today my app shows data from...

    New VR28.13 SQ4 update

My guess one of the reasons is the software is half baked and needs updates to work properly. IF they delivered a reliable platform the OTA case would not be as relevant. Other then that - EVs are supposed to be software defined and that includes OTA. This seems to be the standard on the market...

    New VR28.13 SQ4 update

They advertise OTA updates for the newest Taycans: https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2026/products/porsche-model-year-innovations-taycan-42641.html They advertised OTA updates for the new Macan. I think they know times when you had to buy map updates on expensive CD are in fact over but are...

    New VR28.13 SQ4 update

TBH this is less of an update and more like bug fixing AND it requires visit to the shop AND it's not done by default but requires you to complain about specific issues. On the other hand I just received a message from Porsche Connect that the ability to select preferred charging stations in...
