The SQ4 update was optional but the SQ5 is a global recall campaign WTA6. Just booked an appointment and confirmed the content of this update is exactly like this list mentioned here before. Dealer says it should indeed reduce the issue of sounds coming from front suspension.

It used to be this way but lately I find the Porsche nav makes questionable decisions - very often due to traffic data being not up to date. Anyway Porsche nav is the only way to go for battery preconditioning and charging planner so for longer trips it's the far superior.

I wonder if this could resolve cracking sounds coming from the suspension when driving over speed bumps.

You are missing the avarage speed of over 100 km/h over a very long trip of ~400kms. From my experience it means long periods of fast driving, you cannot maintain this speed that long. On my similar road trips (avg over 100 km/h over 300 kms) I get 24-26 kwh/100 at minimum. This is a very good...

At first my dealer told me there is no active campaign for this car and update has been applied. After I complained about issues and told them there is a new update they agreed to "check" and so far haven't come back.

Well there is this post on reddit with iX3 stats on highway and honestly it's world apart. Over 102km/h on avg during long 400km highway trip and 18,6 kWh is truly excellent.

Too bad there is no campaign for these minor updates (SQ4 / SQ5). There was for V28.13 but it was for the first revision of this software. Once you have this the campaign is done. You have to complain to your dealer to have these fixes applied.

The newest SQ4 update to 28.13 seems to address this issue of keeping the connection between car and the mobile app, anyone can confirm?

This is great, means it was indeed resolved in MY2026.

My guess one of the reasons is the software is half baked and needs updates to work properly. IF they delivered a reliable platform the OTA case would not be as relevant. Other then that - EVs are supposed to be software defined and that includes OTA. This seems to be the standard on the market...
