It works as far as I can tell but I don't use it because I normally drive locally and don't need battery pre-cooling .. also it sucks so I stick with google maps.
Reset the PCM or hard reset by yanking the 12v battery, probably will fix any glitches. 💀
I have a 2026 Turbo and I don't even know if I need this update. I can call my service advisor at Porsche but I really don't want to because they don't know what they doing 😭💀
After the repair , this issue came back. Well it's not really an issue, more like a crappy feature. If you drive around a bit and once you drive by a sign that it can read the error will go away on its own.
Porsche service techs don't know anything. I think they made up the issue to bring it...
You can also ask if your dealer can do it. My dealer put on some glass protector over the center console for me. Had him included it for free because I opted it for the ppf for the front.
And it seems that center and passenger screens have a film protector on them from the factory, which I...
No, never had a warning come up for this even when my eyes were off the road.
Yes you can record a reversal path as well.
Yes, the sensors do consider your wheels. There's red lines that appear on the 3d view or whatever it's called when your wheels get close to the curb.
You can't save...
What was he talking about boosting recuperation with a button? is that a thing or he just made that up? I can only toggle recouperation on/off if I add a shortcut to that button.
There's an option in the settings of the car to disable auto precooling the car when unlocked. I just leave it enabled because it's hot as hell where I live and it doesn't annoy me that much it cools the car for 5 minutes even though I'm just walking away.
Watched this video and In short he likes it but doesn't know if it's worth the price and says he misses the 1 pedal driving Teslas have.
Since when have Porsches been cheap? Silly complaint.
I wonder if it's cost related, why would Porsche go with TomTom versus the Google Maps routing algorithm and I wonder if this can one day be changed from an update hopefully. The Porsche navigation can't be trusted.
These Porsche techs have no idea what they doing with the EVs, they are still learning on the job as issues come up. I brought my car in for an "assistance system limited" warning and they claimed my charger port was bad causing the issue, eventually I learned that warning goes away on it own...
Pretty sure it's just another bug in the software which a hard reboot (by disconnecting the 12v battery) will reset and fix. Changing the data module fixes it because they probably unplug the battery for before any repair work anyways, so in effect the system gets rebooted during the process...
had this issue on my 2026 turbo. Nothing worked, except disconnecting the battery, leaving it off for a few minutes and reconnecting it. Thankfully now it's fixed, what a nightmare!
