I must be honest: I would have probably gotten the iX3 if it hadn’t been available a year ago when I needed the bigger car. Especially considering how much cheaper it is. Still happy with the Macan though.
I am really looking forward to the i3/M3 might be my next car.
Same in Switzerland, I dont think they bother informing the clients. My Porsche dealer is always booked anyway, they will do the update during the next wheel change
NHTSA published the update information now:

Nothing we didn't already know, relevant bit is the changelog:
That was at a Porsche Charging Lounge indeed. I usually have good results with Ionity as well. I try to avoid most other chargers as they usually split if two people charge from the same station. At most Ionity and all Porsche chargers that can not happen.
On my last trip around 5 degrees with heavy rain I charged ~64 kWh in 21 Min, starting at 15% SoC. This is quite close though (64 is ~67% of usable capacity).
Yeah, I also never saw that. But the car is definitely capable of charging 10 - 80% in 21 minutes, this is not just a marketing lie.
E.g. see this video 2025 Porsche Macan EV 10%-80% Charging Test! | Fastest EV We Have Tested!
I personally never fully charged 10 - 80% but I got very close.
Well, don't expect to achieve the same points along the curve if you just plug in at a certain percentage. The curve assumes a perfectly heated battery and includes already a ramp up. If you plug in at 50% the battery/charger has to ramp up first so you will most likely never hit 200kw. I did...
You have a point. Where is the current external nfc reader?
I would probably pay 200 dollar for it if it would be a payed option in the app…and probably many would
@seabird well, it says very explicitly in the page OP shared that only MY26 of the Macan are supported.
And while NFC is not part of the strict requirements of Apple Car Key, there is not a single manufacturer that uses UWB only. There is no reason to have any hopes left for getting Car Key on...
Digital Key won’t come as an update to existing cars. This was busted in another thread where people figured out that hardware is missing from existing cars.
I think this thread is a great example how taste and opinions differ. I personally find the 4S the perfect balance between sport and comfort and for me it sits at the sweet spot of the line up. I tried the 4 and found it too slow and the Turbo is a tad too expensive. What would put me off the...
The Bose is fine and imo still worth the upgrade over the base version. It is not as good as it should be though, it used to be a bigger upgrade.
I also prefer the Macan over the Cayenne mostly because it is smaller in our tiny garages and parking lots in Europe. For the US I would probably go...
@Garylaw Again, this is simply because of the larger wheels. Spec a Turbo with 21 inch and it will have less range than a GTS. 4S will have the same. Wheels are what makes the difference here, the motor has almost no impact.
The European configurator shows the range based on your exact...
There is no boot difference 4S vs GTS if both have the Bose specced. 540 vs 480 is only due to the Bose subwoofer. All you loose is 90% of the underfloor storage though (still fits emergency kit and an umbrella), it is not really properly usable space. But some might that find useful.
I also...
@alxman what you are talking about are Android App Updates. This is not what the myPorsche App refers to.
While sure, the myPorsche App doesn't really mean anything it is at least a positive sign.
