    New VR28.13 SQ4 update

I totally agree with you @MatC21 Macans are nice to drive? Yes! Porsche has roots and history? Obviously! Porsche were almost affordable sport cars, and turns to be a brand with very expensive SUV branded as sport cars? Apparently etc but, the industry has changed, the technologies and...

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

Don't overthink it, it's just another issue related to the soft and/or the bms and/or the battery and/or whatever causes that...on specific cars. Mine is often (very) pessimistic , have a look, 12% for 60 meters :

What does your Future hold with the Macan

What does your Future hold with the Macan

@DTaxman no problem at all, I totally understand your POV, and I find it heartening to see that the vast majority of Macan EV owners are satisfied rather than dissatisfied with this expensive toy bad luck, I’m not in that team! Obviously, cars are cars and their first purpose is to be driven...

    Loss of power on highway

You're right @Awaz, but you know, the WAF must be taken into consideration. She was scared because of loss of power in several circumstances, and she doesn't want a Porsche EV again, because of that, and because of Porsche France and dealership bad behavior. you can fool her only once... Some...

What does your Future hold with the Macan

Obsolete is a personal thought. 'To me, a one year old connected object, even if it's a car, that is not able to be updated on a regular basis is obsolete. My point is NOT OTA or real new features, but just improvements and adjustments of existing ones to provide customer with polished...

    Loss of power on highway

Let's be cristal clear: Porsche France and the dealership don't take their responsibilities. You are totally right: they expect me to drive, test and eventually crash. There is no problem for them to try and fail to solve the problem, to let me drive a dangerous car between the interventions ...

    Loss of power on highway

And they will do nothing for you because they don't have any clue of what is going on. Indeed, in the end, the only way is the cancellation of the contract with the help of lawyers...

    Loss of power on highway

there are several circle of death, and I've experienced many of them with and without partial or total loss of power. the car is dangerous, but in the meantime, the car is a beautiful 140k€ Christmas tree: red, yellow, white circle of death, some delightful bells and always a surprise when you...

    Loss of power on highway

I'm pretty sure it's a very specific and rare issue.

Battery cells reset/rebalancing after erratic SoC readings

Is Porsche Macan the only EV on earth with a BMS that doesn't manage the battery? Shame on you Porsche for not being able to fix immediately this sort of issue, and keeping your customers in the dark.

    Loss of power on highway

Yes, total or partial loss of power, in town, b-road and highway... and several other variants of the red circles. In my case, the car doesn't always shift into neutral. First, it was rare, and now, it occurs during each trip several times: the car is very dangerous. 4th time at the dealership...

What does your Future hold with the Macan

It would be a world record if my unknown new car is worst than a dangerous, not reliable, obsolete and very expensive medium tech brand new macan EV! My particular macan turbo is very particular

First maintenance service after two years

why the hell would we need to change the coolant fluid every 2 years? That's insane and ecologically absurd. so Tesla : almost never, majority of brands 5 to 10 years... Porsche 2 years, because it's a performance car... ah ah

Battery cells reset/rebalancing after erratic SoC readings

100% true. My particular car loses 1% per day since October 2025, after one year without this behavior. 40 watts 24/7 is a huge consumption assuming the car is off. 350 kWh wasted per year is an aberration.

First maintenance service after two years

This almost fake maintenance is a cash machine for Porsche (and other brands... Audi is also terrible) that shows their total disrespect of customers... Porsche should remember 30 years ish ago... Cayenne saved them, not the 911. EV is a must have to survive in Europe, they should consider that...

What does your Future hold with the Macan

Thanks! The problem is that, in the first place, my favorite car was the Macan EV... Maybe an iX3, but without passion ; any valuable suggestions?

What does your Future hold with the Macan

Never again a Porsche EV. My particular car sucks and is dangerous, and beyond that I can't accept an EV car where the software is obsolete after 12 months, where the maintenance/repair costs are so expensive, where the rare software updates change the BMS/SoC behavior in a wrong way. 1% loss...

Does your Macan EV keep SoC stable when left idle for a week or longer?

Does your Macan EV keep SoC stable when left idle for a week or longer?

My September 24 Turbo has got the exact same behavior regarding the BMS and the SoC. My car is mostly parked in an underground parking at 17/18 C , and the 1% loss appeared after some modules updates on september/october 25 (they were intended to solve my red circle of death problems) and the...
