Thanks Diego, my dealer charged it also to 100% after the SQ5 update, but no result on my car…
Have you tried to discharge under 10%, let it sits overnight and the charge to 100% e let it plugged for 3/4 hours. This solved a similar problem to me with my Tesla in 2023.

Car charged to 100% with no success. It now just estimates I’ll arrive at a destination 10 miles away with 100% SOC.

software update that was applied 1 week ago does not show battery updates, but could be a gap in the update that affects Nav.

Thanks Bob,
So, it turns out it can be fixed with a software update after all—just a different one from the SQ5 update they installed on Tuesday.

Do you have any idea what the version number was for the update that fixed the issue, or is that something you could find out by contacting your garage?

My dealer certainly doesn't have this information; otherwise, they would have installed it.
Thanks in advance!
Bennie. 2 things. I checked the system software and it’s in the screenshot below. I discovered another aspect today. The % at the destination in the Sat Nav was a fair bit greater than the current %. I then realised that in the My Porsche App I had set the minimum charge at the destination greater than the current % - hence the car was assuming a charging stop to top up !

Yes I notice this too, when travelling home. The nav wanted me to stop for a brief topup as estimated remaining range at destination was 12% - target in route planner was 20%. I have a home charger so didn't need to do that. I was initially confused by the route and needed to read the manual, after reading this thread, and found the route planner was being 'helpful'!

The only way I now see of avoiding the help is to disable route planning for the specific trip. I can't see any other way to define a route that routinely ignores the route planner, e.g. ignore for home destination.

The question is, for the OP and others, is your route monitor experience actually popping in some charge stops; try disabling the route planner and see if that makes a difference.

I previously posted the SW version for MY26 in my car here.

My nav doesn’t add stops, it consistently estimates 4% higher at destination than actual.

I seem to have confirmed that for my vehicle the issue is only when I have selected my main driver profile. Issue doesn’t happen when using a guest profile.

Why would the main profile use a different Nav algorithm?

Photos are taken of my display in both guest profile and my main profile. The routes are to the same location, 10 miles as the crow flies, but they show different drive distance but the same drive times. The car was at a 96% SOC. The charging planner was set at defaults and the charging suggestions on router have not been added.

Yes very odd, and I observe SOC at destination goes up to 97%, when you start at 96%... hence the issue of the topic.

I wonder, does the planner take into consideration the driving style of the profiled driver?

From experience it seems to takes into account driving style as it calculates range given consumption then feeds that back into the percent estimate. As the SOC changes due to many conditions the SOCd usually adjusts. On road trips we would have regularly more SOC at arrival than initial estimates but would watch the estimated SOCd change during the drive, increasing or decreasing with driving factors.

Battery percent is a measure of the energy in the system. Range is that energy divided by some consumption average. SOC at destination is the predicted energy remaining after a predicted consumption.
the prediction used to take into account: actual consumption, elevation, regeneration, battery temp (possibly just lumped into actual consumption the same way air con is), charging stops, average speed, traffic, and maybe some other factors. None of these seem to be changing SOCd with the current issue.

Amongst other factors, going downhill also improves the SOC. Often notice that happening.
The best one was coming down from Furka Pass in the Swiss Alps. I gained and overall lost no SOC when I returned.

Thanks Bob,
I have exactly the same software version as you. And the same leather package, I see 😉
I have a longer drive coming up at the end of the week where I’ll need the navigation, so I’ll check then to see if anything has improved. I haven't set a minimum battery level.

You also mentioned 6 small software updates, one of which might have affected and solved our issue. I think we both have the SQ5 version. Could it be that this consists of multiple components to be installed, which is why you ended up with a count of 6?

Since we have the same software version, your garage might have done something slightly different during one of the updates compared to mine. You wrote: “Then installed 6 small updates one of which was battery management. All sorted.”
Could you perhaps ask them for the number of this specific update after all, so that I can inform my dealer?

I’ll try but they are always defensive - the 6 updates were small and were installed after consulting with HQ.
