Go with the car you want then, rather than thinking about residuals. Iām stupid enough to buy my cars so residuals are a real consideration. If youāre going to be driving great distances you may want to consider the adaptive cruise though.
There were post about this last year. There are images showing disconnecting the Bose and reconnecting seemed to resolve the issue.

If the car is a company car then go for it. If itās a purchase and you donāt intend to keep it for many years, I think the residual will be significantly lower for not having some of the options that really should be standard on a Ā£ 81k car, like pan roof, matrix lights, comfort seats., surround...
My car was booked in just after the update was released. The day before, the dealer called to say that they were suspending all updates as they had 2 cars which were ābrickedā due to the update. The cars were completely dead. Not long after they re-booked it as they had installed a newer version...
Youāll lose more vision whilst slow driving in rain as you canāt option a rear wiper with the glass. I didnāt want the wiper anyway and havenāt really regretted it - also I realised that the wiper would possibly cut the amount of vision even when not in use. That and I think it spoils the look...
My car was in for the last 3 days for a number of range reporting issues. The technician said it was down to me switching from summer tyres to winter ones. I explained they are all season and the range increased ditching the Bridgestones. It has to go in again, hopefully this time to someone who...
I have the āglassā and it doesnāt affect my iPhone reception nor is it any darker than normal privacy glass. I canāt confirm it is quieter as I havenāt driven a car without it. In my case, the tyre noise on the factory fit Bridgestones was too high so I switched to Pirelli Scorpion MS All...
Strange - I sent an email expressing surprise and asking if they could fit it whilst the car is with them for the range issue. They responded saying that they had checked on the system and found that it shouldnāt require replacing and they would get their Centre's Porsche Pro's to reach out to...
Iāve just received a message in the App saying the cabin filter needs replacing. A bit surprised as the car is only 1 year old - is this normal and has anyone had a replacement fitted at a dealers
Simple question to the salesman - if he is right about 100% why does the My Porsche suggest you select optimised charging which it to 80%. If thinking has changed they would change the limit imposed by āoptimisedā charging.
Your range before the update looks amazing 520 km / 80% = 650 km at 100% = 390 miles or over 4 miles / kw. Whereas now 440 km / 80% = 550 km at 100% = 330 miles or 3.5 miles / kw Which is still pretty good.
That said, there is another thread about your issue. My car is going in next Tuesday...
I use Innodrive in town driving. The stop / go is much better than in my previous Range Rover - the Macan will drive away after a much longer stop whereas the RR wouldnāt automatically move after about 5 seconds. I think the only change to Innodrive is the lane change assist. The predicted...
When the clocks changed previously in the UK the server did take a day or two to sort out the correct time. There was a thread on it as it was fairly widespread in the UK. In my case it took 3 days and then righted itself.
I read that BMW introduced FoD as they realised a lot of their cars were ordered by companies and leasing companies. The fleet managers tend not to order what they perceive to be expensive options which donāt do much on the residuals, especially as they tend to resell to auctions.
By...
I think that selling a premium car with so called ACC which does not have start / stop adaptability etc is bordering on mis-selling. Then to not make the āoptionā available on a say Ā£ 60k+ car so to push you into a higher grade is definitely sharp practise.
Without going down the Chinese car...
I wouldnāt hold the hazard light button in for more than 3 seconds - itās a function to brake the car to a stop in case the driver has an āemergencyā aka a heart attack. Thatās why the passenger can operate it and the button is where the passenger can easily reach ...
