Strange! I had the same 2025 March 10 in the 28.11. Maybe this is something else and has nothing to do with the 28.13 update. I'll pick up mine monday morning and will have a look.
Petzi, I would agree but keep in mind some of these problems were serious and were affecting safety. E-sound errors or disabled innodrive is a niuasanse. Doors opening mid-drive, cars turning off on highway, high-voltage system errors forcing turtle mode, assistance systems forcing full-stop without a reason - this should not be acceptable regardless of how much you pay for the car.
Doors opening and cars just shutting off shouldn't happen, but false positives on ADAS and propulsion systems are a safety feature that's intentionally designed in. The whole point of these features is to intervene when certain conditions are detected.

It's obviously good that they have refined the software to make rare false positives even rarer, but they're unavoidable at any price point. Sometimes there will be an electrical fault that is not detected and the motor will be damaged, and sometimes there will be no fault but it will engage anyway. That will always be true in every car.

What happened to the Porsche connect store? Have a look at the differences between 2022 and 2026 (Taycan though). Hope they bring 2022 style for Macan so we can buy some features.

What happened is Android. The 2022 Taycan is still on in-house Porsche PCM software. The Macan was the first Porsche on AAOS. The Taycan and 911 are moving to AAOS. Google's app store mechanism doesn't allow software that changes vehicle functionality, and Porsche hasn't gotten around to rebuilding the "unlock store" yet for AAOS. Whether it's even on their radar, only the product team knows.

I just did a roadtrip of ~1000kms after the update, mostly highway driving.

The update improved my car by a lot:
4) consumption improved - my car had some off/high consumption on highways, it's like 10-20% better now which a big deal;
5) innodrive was super stable compared to what I've had before; was active for most of highway driving and did well even in construction zones with yellow lanes which troubled it before
About 5; I have the same experience. Innodrive is way more smooth than it was before. The car was sometimes 'bouncing' in the lane from the left to the right and that is totally gone. I can make a good comparison since I was driving the same route the last days.

About 4; I thought the same! Have to wait a little bit longer (or drive more km's) to get a better insight, but on the realtime usage screen it looks like at 100-120km/h the car is using 1-2kW/100km less than before the update.

Still looking for the screen where I can see that the car has the 28.13 update šŸ¤”.

Innodrive was my biggest dissapointment after driving an e-tron for 4 years. Can’t wait for mine to be updated the 28th!

I'm sure you'll be happy! I also have a BMW iX and have the assisted drive always on. Driving the Macan was a big disappointment, since I wasn't able to do the same. Now it feels good to turn it on all the time and it feels really supporting like the iX does.

I got the SW update in my Macan 4S last week Friday. It has been installed smoothly without issues. It takes about 5h - and was done overnight. This was one of the first cars with the SW updates.

I immediately noticed, that finally the 5G signal is active (and not 4G anymore).
In addition they installed a stopper on the safety belt on the passenger side (for free) and a new trunk cover.

I have not yet noticed any significant difference when driving. Will need to figure this out in coming weeks.

The Porsche dealer was not yet informed about the possibilities on "retrofits for 2025" models with new features of 2026 models: Active Park Assist and Digital Key.

A few weeks ago, I was in contact with Porsche Customer relations when the new 2026 specifications were revealed, making the point that 2025 owners would want an upgrade as well.
I received a call from the Porsche team confirming that the Macan Development Team will look into retrofit options for 2025 models - and this would be a first - look into retrofit options.

I picked up my car after this update. LCA (blind spot) was not working on the way back. This is the second time it has happened to my car right after picking it up from the dealer. I believe their car wash messes up the mirror positions. I have found a TSB that describes a fix by closing and opening the side mirrors. This allows the car to learn their position. This fixed the issue again for me.
The car was not showing a yellow or white warning for the LCA unavailable but the system was not working even though it was enabled in the menu.

My 4S had the update on Monday (Porsche Stockport) for the day. Can't really feel any improvements but driving conditions have been poor in UK since collection, so hard to tell. I too dont know where to find on the PCM evidence that it has had the update as the following screen didn't change after the update.

Electric Macan EV MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25 1000076571

One thing to note though is, when I came to plug my charging cable into the electronic charge port of the car, the port opened as usual, went to plug the lead in and the charging port started to close and jammed into the cable. I had to yank it out and then got the yellow warning on the dash that the charging port was inoperative. I tried the charging port on the other side of the vehicle and this too opened, then closed automatically. I tried again and it stayed open as normal, long enough for the charge cable to be inserted, but had to wait about 30 mins for the fault to clear and charging to start.
Worked fine ever since, so just be on the initial opening after this update.

Are you all scheduling appointments specifically for the update? Or asking for the update while the car is already in for a service. Wondering if there will be any pushback or fees for coming in only for the update

My update wasnt scheduled, it just happened to be booked in to look at my assistance settings which disappeared from the PCM. These just came back on after 2 weeks by itself, so went to cancel the booking but was told that they had important recall updates to make.

I decided to leave the update until I saw it being installed trouble-free. My car is now booked in mid December and no cost involved. The 3 campaigns were installed recently so the update is not being done as part of that. I was told the 3 campaigns are not a safety issues so they are not mandatory recalls. I’m interested to know what the important recall updates are for your car.

Just call your dealer and ask what campaigns are open for your car and then ask them for an appointment to get them performed. It is free under warranty.

Everyone with the update is seeing dec 5 2024 for the security patch, and a kernel build time from 2025. Your car may not have been updated.
