I love my Macan Turbo, in Sport Plus it’s a beast. Whilst the infotainment of the new Cayenne Electric is better than the Macan, I think the Macan looks far better than the new Cayenne.

Yeah it does work quite well. That’s also true of all the other games in App Centre. They do work fine, I’m just not that interested in them. I use Weather and YouTube the most.

Actually I did manage to find the AirConsole app yesterday in my App Centre.

I was in the same situation (no errors), updated to VR28.13 within the first week and the dealer reported the update went very smoothly.

I don't see that in the App Centre on my Macan.

An interesting problem you have there, 248V is right up there I'd say. Have you been able to try AC charge somewhere else with lower voltage?

I actually find the image quality fine on my MY25. It's not quite BMW iX quality, but overall quite usable.

Unless it was a life or death emergency I would be throughly unimpressed.

I was told my mine went very smoothly, and was completed in a couple of hours, though they had the car for a couple of days anyway as I was travelling.

One extra consideration is that the Audi Q6 etron has had Digital Key from introduction, built on the same platform as the Macan Electric (PPE), and introduced at a similar time.

This is shaping up to be the benchmark EV imo. And I like the way it looks inside and out.

The only other update I've noted is the Android app update of the Sport Chrono/Smart Lift app.

I don’t expect it, but I am hopeful. We knew the car always had UWB which is a key technology that Apple CarKey is based on. Not to mention the new Porsche Digital Key option code is the same code used on the 2024/2025 cars.

Looks identical to the implementation that BMW did with the iX....that is only 5 years ago now. 😊 There are no legitimate reasons why the Macan could not have been built with the right hardware from its initial release. What is required has been a well known quantity for years now.

They're probably waiting for the software devs to merge the software changes for Porsche Digital Key....:CWL:

I think you’ll find those services are related to the Porsche Digital Key (Apple CarKey). It’s clear it was unfinished work when the Macan launched and the software has been there all along, albeit in an incomplete form. Whether this transforms into a usable Apple CarKey implementation or not we...
