MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

Today, I browsed through the menu again and compared software versions here and there. I really can't find any changes compared to 28.11.

Does anyone have any idea where you can see that version 28.13 is actually installed?

this is easily avoided by keeping the car in drive...or the doors locked. None of the exterior comfort access stuff should work...

has this happened to you?
were you in a car wash where the car is still, or pulled on a conveyer?

yes exactly.

i use a touchless wash bay every now and then. So i pull in, and just use the "hold" feature while it's washing.... never had an issue.

I'm assuming that the other type of wash, with a pully/tunnel, you need put the car in neutral... I don't know if the comfort features are disabled while in neutral.

The page above indicates that the latest update includes a so-called "Transparent Hood" in surround view mode. Apparently, this isn't included in the latest 28.13 update? This seems like a nice addition.

By the way, I am a bit cautious about an update because my Macan has not shown a single error message since it was delivered in January 2025. Fingers crossed.

That's a landfill PR copy and past article from September. I wouldn't take any of the information included in it as correct for MY25 cars.

The "Transparent Hood" is a new option available for MY26 cars. I doubt it is included in the software update for the MY24/25 cars.

What happened to the Porsche connect store? Have a look at the differences between 2022 and 2026 (Taycan though). Hope they bring 2022 style for Macan so we can buy some features.

What happened? No OTA updates for Macan or new Taycan like VW has, so no online store to buy options post purchase and you have to drag your Porsche to the stealers where they connect it for 3 days to a computer and power source, bring in a priest and start praying that they won't fry any of the 100s ECUs during the update

I just picked up my Turbo after the software update was successfully installed. It took three attempts to install the update. However, mine was the first customer vehicle to receive the update.

According to my advisor, the update is there to fix known software problems and, above all, to make it easier to identify hardware problems.

Since my vehicle has never had any problems, I don't notice any difference from before on my first drive. However, I have the feeling that the chassis tuning is better.

With regard to an update to the additional capabilities of the 2026 model year, I was told that the signals from headquarters are that these will also be available for vehicles built in 2024 and 2025. However, this will not happen until the first quarter of 2026.

I don’t think so. For MY 2026 they did promise in car filtering. I know you can already do it in the app but this is in addition to that.

I just did a roadtrip of ~1000kms after the update, mostly highway driving.

The update improved my car by a lot:
1) no more random errors or weird problems
2) chassis/suspension tuning is better, feels more comfortable and quicker to react
3) the charging curve improved - during DC charging from 10% do 90% it held >100kw for longer and estimated charging time was spot on (which never happened before, it always took longer)
4) consumption improved - my car had some off/high consumption on highways, it's like 10-20% better now which a big deal;
5) innodrive was super stable compared to what I've had before; was active for most of highway driving and did well even in construction zones with yellow lanes which troubled it before
6) I feel like the mobile app is better at keeping connection with the car
