lots and lots of improvements via OTA updates with no charge…their software is continuously improving and adds useful features…

just one example:

shortly after I purchased my 2018 Model 3 Performance - they added "blind spot video feed" on the main screen when the blinker was turned on - this feature did not exist when I drove the car off the lot, and a few weeks later it got added for no additional charge - same with "dash cam features" - when car was purchased there was no dash cam capabilities - after I got an OTA update I then had dash cam capabilities from the suite of built in camera's

Tesla continuously and aggressively improves their product(s) and routinely deploys new features/capabilities and updates via frequent and effective OTA mechanisms…

I love Porsche and have my issues with Tesla - but software updates and continuously improvement they _ARE_ the industry leader!

I never saw any real improvements … mostly cosmetic and auto wipers that were still in Beta when I sold my Model X … on the contrary I had a radar which they stopped supporting for vision only and had more phantom braking than ever … That Tesla is making their cars better with software updates is a pure fallacy in my opinion …

Your opinion @Yves and I respect it since it's based on each own experience (i had M3 you had MX).
I received, as @daveo4EV wrote, "blind spot video feed", improvement on all the cameras and, matrix headlight (for free) since the HW was there but not the SW and they activate the light with an OTA update. My Macan is almost an year old (27/09/2025) but got just an update (sincerely I haven0t noticed it) done by dealer and not OTA, waiting for a better rear camera display (full screen) and other minor update but I'm quite sure I will sell the car without them. BUT I'm very satisfied by the car since it drives like a car and not an iPad with 4 wheels (suspension, handling and so on).

Just updated to MY2026 in Japan. A little bit more expensive, but the available options are a lot better.

If that is a new driver monitor I hope it is far more forgiving than exactly the same set up on the top of the steering column in my Lexus RZ450e. It was difficult to turn off and if you even looked out of a side window at a junction it put up a warning. Far far too sensitive.

*No new color to replace Papaya;

*No new 21” wheel;

*No NACS port announced (at least not yet);

*No GTS version.

my guess is MY'2028 for the Macan (Macan EV .2 facelift 4+ years after the 2024 introduction)

the first "test" of a native NACS EV will be the Cayenne EV - we'll see if they do it there for North America.

I'm a selfish bastard and love that the newer model doesn't have better options available which helps me sleep at night and not regret waiting ...

By new color, do you mean something in the red spectrum? Because the new color added is Chalk (on the cnd site at least).

In the U.S. for 2026 colors, no chalk, e.g. nothing new other than Papaya being MIA. Later change by adding in a new one???

Completely disagree. Huge monthly improvements via software updates as I listed earlier. Enabling matrix headlamps last month was huge. Adding AI added last week also huge. They are about to update the software to add a graphical alert on the display when it senses First Responder sirens outside the car. (the cars are getting more insulated so this is necessary).

Dog Mode was in a software update years ago

You may not drive at night, own a pet, or care about AI, but those are great improvements to the car. Stating that software updates aren't improving the car is just wrong by any metric.

You could make the argument that "chalk" is not a color, it's the absence of color...
