...Does anyone have any clue about this company?
https://www.megahjul.no/products/en...AN-II-ALL-MODELS-+-EV-24-UP/staggered-package

According to their site they produce wheels specially designed for a pretty wide range of EVs.The specific one in the link is a 20", however it's available also to 21" & 22" for the Macan EV.
The design and looks is extremely interesting and appealing for my personal taste and the dimensions are exactly the same with Porsche's original 20" wheels, for front and rear as well. Also the specifications such as Max.load are extremely close if not the same to originals Porsche wheels and of course their price is way better.Only thing I dislike is the "ZAX" in the center instead of the original Porsche badge but maybe there's a way to replace it somehow.
As a side note, very good information by selecting the link with the green button under the "weight" characteristic,it needs translation though.

lol...the photoshop job is funny... look how small the brakes are!! the wheels are clearly taken from another car/image Not even an snow on the tires......

but anyway, i've never heard of this compnay... But i ton't think there's much to worry about with AM these days...Especially since you're planning to go with 20's and there will be plenty of rubber.

For the part, I think you just want something lighter than the OE wheels

I was aware the image is faked ,I just uploaded the photo to show how it looks. The specifics looks o.k. though and they definitely say they build wheels for the Macan EV among other car brands they built for as well, like Tesla,BMW,Audi,Mercedes e.t.c.As for my option, these ones will be for my Winter tire set only,my Summer ones will be the original 21" Macan Design ones.

No I didn't opted for this shop, actually according to my information derived from several resellers in Europe this company has several kind of troubles and issues with their product quality for more than the last couple of years including rims with compromised integrity resulting in broken wheels in some cases.
Instead, I found that BC Forged custom wheels are one of the best choices out there when it comes to aftermarket forged wheels. They built your rims according to your specific car actual needs and your own personal design needs of course. Their manufacturing facilities are in Taiwan and in US, here are their web sites:
https://bcforged.com.tw/
and
https://bcforged-na.com/

According to several reviewers it's a very well known company with great and extensive experience in racing cars and car modifications and customizations related to competition. They're also one of the very few ones with such a great degree of product quality at such an extensive range so reasonably priced. Most importantly aside their enhanced durability these wheels are extremely light, definitely lighter that the OEM ones, meaning significantly improved driving characteristics and of course range, something so meaningful to EVs.

This is the one I choose for my 4S following an extremely extensive searching as I didn't want to spend a heck lot of money on wheels. Maybe brands like HRE,Vossen,König and the like are even better but they sell double the price with a set for the Macan EV approaching with ease 5 figure numbers. Rest aside I found in BC Forged an extremely extensive variety with all short of designs for everyone to be pleased.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I love those rims you got. Did you have them painted orange, as included in your specification, or did you have them further painted after you received them? Also, what kind of price did they charge you, including shipping? I am in Canada, so my prices might involve extra charges

Unfortunately they deliver their products exactly as they describe them in their website without modifications even though their color pallet for someone to choose from is extremely large. Other than the customisations offered they don't go any further. However such color customisation is easily doable by detailing shops using vinyl wrapping film, exactly like the exterior color of a car is changed. It's way more easier to do and piece of cake to undo if ever a change in wheels looks should be preferred.
I was quoted for a set of 20's with 8J and 10J for the front and rear respectively (the specific design called EH-T01) with diamond cut edges 4.750€ including VAT and shipping to Greece.
You could probably find a dealer in your own country to avoid added costs,BC Forged is a pretty common worldwide wheel manufacturer so most likely there must be some dealers closer to you instead from an EU country.
Happy to help!

Kris, the reasons going with them besides the more reasonable prices given their product quality was they are the only ones - amongst the many (too many) others I checked out - offering dimension starting from 8J instead of 8.5 or even 9J and wanted to match as closely as possible our original 20' dimension.Even though there's absolutely no one offering a forged 20'X7.5J wheel the 20'X8J is the next closest solution.
Aside,I prefer something considerably different from the classic "spokes" design and the specific one immediately caught my attention. It closely resembles Lamborghini Huracan "Giano" wheels (I'm convinced BC Forged got the idea from there) and when in black with diamond cutted edges give somehow the illusion the car floats on the wheel's hexagons.

So you're not upsizing at all? Sticking with the 20" specs?

That's correct Kris, since I'll use the BC Forged set of wheels as my Winter config with snow tires and all from which I expect to get a reduction in efficiency/range and given Winter's lower temps I will certainly get even lower range, I decided to keep dimensions as minimal as possible to achieve the best characteristics possible from this set.Even a small increase in any of the wheel dimensions such as width would mean even more added weight and also different tire behavior for the same 20' wheel.

Maybe seems a bit exaggerating to be concerned so much about the range, but for me is quite essential as during Winter I need the car for our seasonal 2-3 months road trip to Central Europe and the roads to get there and back don't offer the best infrastructure possible to reach at least to Hungary without serious concerns - if you want to avoid taking the Winter ferry from Greece to Italy like us.

What is really see as a possibility for the near future is a while later to replace my 21' original Macan Design wheels most likely with the same EH-T01 BC Forged design in the same dimensions as the originals for even better aesthetics as well as range and efficiency.

Question about this. If you got a set of 20" when you first got the car do the tires you got on those rims fit on your new BC forged rims or did you have to get slightly different tires?

Question about this. If you got a set of 20" when you first got the car do the tires you got on those rims fit on your new BC forged rims or did you have to get slightly different tires?
I ordered the car with 21" for several reasons. This way I'm getting the bigger and significantly more expensive tires with the car and don't have to get them afterwards on my own.Another reason is the bigger rims are also more expensive than smaller ones so it will cost me less to get the 20" on my own.And the final reason is here in Greece dealerships don't offer winter snow tires as an option to get with the car but rather only as an exrta through tequipment meaning even more expensive to get a winter set.
Concerning your question which I suppose is general:If you already have a set of tires for Porche's 20" rims that is 235/55 R20 on the front and 285/45 R20 on the rear (rim dimensions: 7,5 J x 20 ET 32 front and 10 J x 20 ET 49 rear) and if you order from BC Forged or any other manufacturer rims with as close as possible dimensions (exactly the same would be ideal) you don't need to change tires, the ones you already have will perfectly fit your new rims. There will be only a very-very slight, almost negligible difference related to the front wheels tire profile because the originals you already have are 7,5J and the smaller possible width dimension BC Forged produces is 8J meaning you'll gonna have half an inch (just 1.25cm) wider front rims resulting in a veeery slightly more rounded tire profile on the cross section point of view. There's also some room to play with concerning "ET" which is the offset of the rim,30-34 for the front and 47-51 for the rear axle. However the offset parameter has nothing to do with tires,it's only related to how the rim "sits" in place, how far in or out.
Here is a very handy tool to check any wheel and tire dimension: https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wheel1=235-55-20X7.5ET32
And here all official information related to Macan EV wheel sizes: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/porsche/macan/2025/#trim-ii-2024-2026-macan-4s--510
In brief, when you are out and about searching for aftermarket custom wheels supposing you want to keep the original tires with as much as minimal differences, you'll gonna need your new rims to be: 20" x 8J ET30-34 (32 is ideal) for the front axle and 20"x10J ET47-51 (49 is ideal) for the rear axle.
All 4 rims must have a Bolt Pattern (PCD) of 5x130,that's the 5 bolts holding the wheels in place.
All 4 rims must have a Center Bore/Hub Bore of 66,5mm,that's the hole dimension at the rim center.
All 4 rims use a Thread Size of M14x1.5.
Even though at the factory know which exactly are all parameters associated with a specific car in relation to its model it would be good to inform them about all the details upon ordering.
I forgot to tell you, delivery time will normally be around 4-6 weeks. for any place of the world.

Hope I helped,if there's something more you need to know I would be glad to share any knowledge I have.

Great explanation

I was also wondering about the tire pressure sensor and calibration. Any issues with reuse of existing and any issues with the car display of tire pressure correctly? When you order tires from Porsche they provide some sensor parts (I believe) which is why I ask?

...Ah,ok the tire sensors, forgot about that...!Here is what BC Forged (USA department) states in their web site:
"All monoblock wheels and step lip modular wheels will include standard BC Forged steel valve stems and are direct TPMS sensor compatible. All flat lip modular wheels will include standard BC Forged steel 90-degree valve stems along with TPMS sensor mounts."

Since I'm still waiting to take delivery of my car (yeap,I ordered the rims ahead of the car for a reason) which most likely will take place around mid autumn I didn't bother already with TPMS sensors. However I believe it's gonna be o.k. with our original sensors according to what they say.In any case though an additional question concerning the subject (stating your specific Macan model and original rim characteristics) to the shop where you'll purchase your rims from will be a good idea. ;)
