Hey @ThomasR
Think we can side shot from straight on to see how your config lines up with the fenders?
pretty please...

I got one of those Ramstead tools ... and i'm seeing that you were correct..you can go a lil lower than my initial thought.
for the front 25et puts them just a lil inside the fender... and for the rear, 30et will make almost flush.

no rubbing/hitting the fender for you so far?
No rubbing. See pics.

Same counts for the ones for 21''s relatively to 20"s,that's one of the main reasons I preferred to get the car with 21'' instead of 20'' so I don't have to buy myself the more expensive ones as it will be fitted already. I don't have an idea how much the 22''s would cost, likely must be around 2.500/3.000ish...

yeah, i've ordered my 22's
so i was trying to narrow down the tire search ahead of time...and it's looking like $600/tire!
looks like i may have ot go with the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's

what's the communities experience with aftermarket TPMS systems?
I'm seeing quite a few options, and i'm choosing between HUF and Autel...
Is there anything one needs to know besides the transmission frequency which I think is 433 for us?
it seems like the part number is exactly the same for all the porche models . I would prefer to save a lil money on the Autel...

i read with amazement when people report that they have fitted some kind of aftermarket rims. this causes warranty problems - at least in germany & austria. the spacers anyway. i wouldn't drive to the porsche center like this. in any case, i would ask the seller of the rims to confirm that the rims are approved by porsche.
is the warranty situation different in the US? did anybody read the contract?

There's indeed a paragraph in the contract referring to "added parts which weren't installed by the factory during production and until delivery".To my understanding it says that if a part not approved by Porsche will be added to the car (of course rims are such a part) at any time, any damage or malfunction will not be covered by the warranty if this part could be considered as responsible for the damage unless the car owner be able to prove that the part was equal or better than the Porsche original part.
Thus,in the aftermarket rims case scenario,if let's say someone who changed the rims with aftermarket ones and sometime along the way the car start having issues with its suspension/shock absorbers.Porsche most likely will refuse warranty by claiming that responsible for the issue are the different wheels rather than anything else. But I can't see how Porsche could deny other warranty claims because of the aftermarket wheels if a problem concerning a defected upholstery leather arise for example or a leaking pano roof or something different and completely irrelevant to the wheels.

thing is, unless you got some weird size wheel, they don't cause issues.
so i can't really imagine a scenario where you have any issue that results from non-OE wheels...unless you got the wrong size.

if I’m not mistaken, you’re running OEM tire sizes with slightly wider wheels?

I’m about ready to order up some tires for the BC Forged wheels I had on my Taycan, and I’m in that hazy fog of doing the wheel/tire math.

and yes, I know the center bore and offsets are different from the Taycan to the Macan. I had hubcentric adapters/spacers made months ago!

There's an online calculator for that https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/
Just enter the ideal rim/tire combo on the one side and the desired on the other and instantly get the difference(s) if any.You can also adjust any factor and parameter to get as closer to the ideal as possible.
No need to fog your brain with such things when the solution are offered easily online!!?
BTW which BC Forged rim dod you get for the Taycan?Did you see any significant difference compared to the originals with the BC Forged being lighter?
