Hello, I bought rims for my 2025 Porsche Macan from abroad because they are very expensive in my country and the distributor sells them at a high price. The ones I got are slightly different from the original Macan RS Spyder model, and I’m using them with spacers. Do you think this could cause any issues? They are 22 inches in size. Also, do you think they suit the car? and
its OEM wheels I’m not sure about %100 real.
Do you think my car would be out of warranty if I take it for service like this?

i read with amazement when people report that they have fitted some kind of aftermarket rims. this causes warranty problems - at least in germany & austria. the spacers anyway. i wouldn't drive to the porsche center like this. in any case, i would ask the seller of the rims to confirm that the rims are approved by porsche.
ps: @farukiziomero: the rims look great!

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, the official Porsche dealer in my country is very expensive. That’s why I had to handle it myself — I won’t take it in for service like this. I’ll go with my old 21-inch wheels instead.

The seller told me it was an original Porsche part. I assume it was taken from a normal Porsche Macan.

What worries me is whether the rim could cause any damage to something of car. Because it’s first time for me to buy EV auto

no, the rims can't damage the car as long as they fit right. Neither will the spacers, just make sure you have the right length lug bolts. This depends on how big of a spacer you have.

I don't know about your country, but making modifications to your car does not void the warranty. Each part of the car is warranted. and if something were to go wrong, Porsche has to prove that modification broke or affected that warranted part.
so me putting a subwoofer in my car can't void the warranty on the engine or seats...

I do suggest looking up the laws in your country tho.

thank you for your interest and response.

You’re right in what you said, but I don’t think the workers in my country have enough knowledge about the vehicle either, so I won’t take any risks and will take it in for maintenance with original parts. Once again, thank you very much.

If you ever have a motor failure they could root cause it back to those spacer’s and possibly void your warranty claim in that case. I would only put unmodified rims OEM or aftermarket just to be safe

I didn’t quite understand what you meant.

By the way, my old rims are still around.

Do you think I should use the ones currently installed?”

I would ask the Porsche service department if using spacers will void any warranty or cause any problems. Maybe it’s ok but I always check

My wheels are OEM.

Do you think they could harm the car?

The Porsche staff in my country don’t have sufficient knowledge or expertise, so I can’t get a clear answer.

That’s why I’ll take the car to maintenance or service with the original wheels. I don’t want to take any risks.

The spacers were installed by a trusted professional.

All I am saying is that if the spacers are not approved Porsche parts and you put them on the drive train Porsche could deny a drive train related warranty claim if you ever need to make a claim. I can’t say if they would harm the car or not as I am not qualified to make that assertion but I know manufacturers get fussy when people put non OEM parts on drive trains. That is why I would ask service if they see an issue. If the rims are Macan EV OEM then that should never be an issue with them as long as they are approved for the model type.
