How many of you plan to switch to the Cayenne electric when/if it launches around the end of the year?

I'm torn on this - I'm not trading a Macan for a Cayenne - but I am considering what to do with my Hybrid 2021 Cayenne Hybrid - but Porsche's pricing for their EV's is bit out of control in my opinion - but I'm not sure the value is there - mind you I've been a porsche victim since 2008 so I'm fairly numb to Porsche pricing, but their recent pricing has been "outlandish" and not offering the value proposition along with the Porsche tax - so I'm really really torn

it will all come down to pricing for me…

there is no question I'm trading the Cayenne Hybrid - the question is will Porsche get to be the replacement…

more details are required - stay tuned…

Does design factor into the decision for you? I saw one article that showed a dirty photo of a coupe version in a parking lot that they claimed was a testing vehicle.

It’s hard to know if it was legitimate or not. It almost had a Hyundai ionic look to the back

i’m excited to see what it ends up looking like - whether it’s a coupe or an SUV style (or both)

i most likely wont, but i'm curious as to how cayanne will differ. I do want a little more room, but at the same time, i prefer sportiness...if they offer an upgraded interior package, it'll def be tempting

yes - the "total" package will be evaluated against alternatives - even this is a step different for me - previously Porsche had my business, but lately I'm having to evaluate alternatives - there are pros/cons and tradeoffs - but money is money at the end of the day and I have to have value for that money…

Cayenne too big for my family - plenty of room in the Macan for 4 people, luggage, bikes (or snow gear) on either tow bar or roof-racks.
And also it's easy to navigate and park in tight city streets / carparks.

So yeah, I'd pick the Macan again over the Cayenne, even at the same price (which obviously it won't be).

I really like the size of the Macan, so I don't really see a reason to trade up to the Cayenne and aside from the couple of recalls and the somewhat annoying intermittent issues I've had with my 4S, I really like the vehicle and build quality and think it is head and shoulders above the petrol version.

Basic on the ICE pricing coupled with the Macan EV pricing increase, I think a Cayenne EV could be about $25,000 USD more than the comparable Macan EV. Thus, we highly doubt our move to a Cayenne EV, but when our Macan EV lease is over, will get a replacement Macan EV.

Same camp here. We had the Cayenne e-hybrid and sold it when we bought the Macan. The Cayenne was a fantastic car... rock solid (better than the EV Macan) and amazing on a road trip. However, it was just too big. The Macan is just the right size for us.

Good move.

I’m hoping enough people decide to trade in their existing Macan EV for the newer 2026 model or to the new electric Cayenne so there’s more CPO inventory on the market for when my current ID.4 lease ends next year.
