When I initially started reading about more screens and less physical buttons, I had an immediate negative reaction, but I started to offer it a chance in my mind after they talked about the physical volume control and similar switches to control front seat temperatures to our Macan EV.

At this pricing point, I'm not afraid to discuss potentially buying one. I still need more information.

I'm callling it…

Coming in 2026, Starting Around $90K
Watch out for the first zero-emissions Cayenne’s global debut later this year and expect to see the EVs on the street in 2026 priced from around $90,000, though a well-optioned Turbo will probably set you back well past the $130,000 mark.
I find this pricing hard to believe and I'm calling BS

we'll see - but it's going to be more than that.

I wonder whether the new 3rd screen is just a modified version of the Macan’s black piano panel. After all, having a couple of buttons to increase or decrease the temperature or to select between options after touching the screen plus the volume knob is mostly what is needed.

Less piano black would be a nice improvement. Besides fingerprints, more irritating to me is a that at certain sun angles and our direction, I need to raise my elbow to block the sun bouncing off the piano black right into my eyes.

Rumors are the Cayenne EV “coupe” version would be introduced in its second year; would like to see that happen.

Yeah. The base EV Macan is about $12k more than the base ICE Macan. So I suspect the EV Cayenne will be $12k-$15k more than the ICE.

That would put the base EV Cayenne around $97k-$100k (or $102k - $105k for the coupé). And I wouldn't be shocked if you could spec it past $180k.

That’s very likely what it is. Likely very similar to the higher end Audis vs Lower end Audis.

So the Macan gets a piano black panel that depresses when pushed and the Cayenne gets the touchscreen experience albeit with the same physical buttons wheel as the Macan. This is more ideal to me to have the actual fan options at all times

this is an _EXCELLENT_ bit of well reasoned speculiation w/evidence and prior example from the VW/Audi/Porsche product mix…

big thumbs up for @CandianPorsche83 - well done!

based on this post and it's reasoning I'm in with this - and we can see the future Cayenne interior in the existing Audi products…there will be differences I'm sure - but the basic "model" is represented in the photo above…

I'm going to steal this analysis and if I'm feeling generous admit that it wasn't my insight, but only sometimes.

Very impressive that the Cayenne EV’s towing rate is 60% more than the Macan EV. It is a formidable improvement in this area alone and probably forecasts a few other ways. Perhaps 750HP?

Also Porsche is not going to cripple the Macan’s roughly 300 mile range to get the Cayenne its enhancements, so what might the Cayenne surprise uis with in the battery and other areas?

I'll take the over on 750HP for the Turbo (which seemed to be pictured in this video because of the Turbonite hood badge).

Agree. These reflections are a flaw in this otherwise amazing vehicle. I keep a microfiber towel in the center tray under the piano black panel, both to clean fingerprints off and to block these reflections when necessary.

I’m not a fan of the low-slung, station wagon look. I understand the benefit in drag reduction, both from a smaller flat plate area and a lower coefficient of drag. The soon discontinued Audi Etron had more of an SUV profile (albeit with bad range) than this new Cayenne, and I considered the Etron to be a borderline station wagon. I truly appreciated the somewhat imposing, aggressive SUV look of the older ICE Cayennes. The performance will be great, I’m sure. Maybe it will be better than in the pictures.
