I'm sure I'll miss some things on here, so please feel free to add / correct, etc. But, here are the things I can tell have gotten pricier (by comparison to my MY2025 4S specs):
(WAS/NOW)
4S Base price: $84,900/$88,000
As Optioned (before discounts/taxes/delivery fees): $114,320/$117,780...
I ordered a Lectron before Porsche announced it would be giving us free ones. I have the Porsche branded one now and will gladly sell my unused Lectron to someone in the US who is willing to pay shipping and 80% of retail, whatever that is (i.e. you get a deal, I recoup something since I don't...
Maybe I don't know what I'm missing in terms of ride quality, but for me the 21" wheels are great. I keep it in normal mode when I have sensitive passengers, but otherwise it's pretty much all sport plus all the time.
Although the base price is the same, it looks like they jacked up the cost of a lot of options compared to '25. The Burmester stereo is now over $5k, for example.
I say "meh" to most of these new features. Digital key? Could be nice, but I have to carry keys for other things anyway. Video games? Not my thing. I'm not towing anything as it is . . . and what did they physically change to improve that rating? All the other stats seem the same? Ok, the...
6 months, 4500 miles on my 4S, and I just love, love, LOVE it! Drive it every chance I get, taking the long way whenever I can. The tiny sun shades and piano black on the center temperature control console are the only design flaws I find noteworthy, and both are manageable, though still a...
You're going to love it. I have AG w/ TB interior + off road package too. Such a nice combo (IMO)! Before I got this car, I never went out of my way to just drive around for no particular reason, and I find myself doing that several times a week now. It's just . . . so. much. fun!
I would cancel HUD and/or whatever else necessary to ensure I had RAS and PTV. But, that’s a matter of personal preference. Also, I have the spring charging doors, and they’re simple/foolproof. Can’t understand the value of powered doors. Anyway, all is a matter of personal taste; yours is...
And it’s bigger than the current Cayenne. I had a Cayenne Coupe as a loaner, and it barely fit in my garage as it was. I don’t know if I could get anything bigger in there without rearranging significantly.
I bought it in the US and was very glad I did after a metal rod punctured both my tire and rim. Both were replaced, no charge. Paid for itself already!
What did you think about off-road mode? Every time I've turned it on, I've found it to be incredibly bouncy. I assume it's not meant for roads - really just meant to be used on slow-ish, rough trails?
If this has been addressed elsewhere in this lengthy thread, I missed it, so sorry if it's a repeat, but one thing I noticed about the new configurator is that the prices for the ICE Macans have increased, I think? Looks like a fully spec'd GTS is now more expensive than a fully spec'd 4S, which...
