It should be okay. Water does get inside that area and drains out of the car from underneath.

Check your charging history on the My Porsche app. On a couple of occasions the screen at EA showed inaccurate data, but everything was correct in the app. If not, call Porsche support. Don’t bother emailing them as it takes forever to get a reply, which is generally not helpful.

Where did you place the battery and how did you handle the wire connection? I was thinking of placing it to the left of the subwoofer under the trunk’s floor.

Anyway to confirm that? As far as I know, when the car is off the high voltage battery stops charging the 12v battery.
