Curious because now it comes as standard on GTS and Turbo. I wonder how much of the hardware might’ve already been there? No, not possible. There is no FOD (Function on demand) for Macan.
“Comes standard” means they’ve baked the cost of the option into the price. Like PASM or glass roof comes standard for some models but not others - doesn’t mean the glass roof is already there but covered (looking at you Tesla).Curious because now it comes as standard on GTS and Turbo. I have it on my Macan and I am looking to turn it off permanently. It's possible in the comfort-drive mode, but not in sport and sport plus. Really annoying fake buzzing sound!Anyone know if it’s an option and/or even possible yet? I’ve seen that Suncoast has the ESS part available, but only for Taycan.
Would you be willing to “part” ways with your Electric Sport Sound parts on the Macan 4 for my Turbo?I have it on my Macan and I am looking to turn it off permanently. It's possible in the comfort-drive mode, but not in sport and sport plus. Really annoying fake buzzing sound!
Just turn it off in the the Sport and Sport+ drive mode settings and store them.I have it on my Macan and I am looking to turn it off permanently. It's possible in the comfort-drive mode, but not in sport and sport plus. Really annoying fake buzzing sound!
I had it on a long term loaner, its a nice noise, but it really encourages speed, because you only get the nice noise when accelerating. I didnt spec it on my own car. They told me it's not about parts, just software.
Thanks, and yes, I'll save, but it just doesn't workAre you SAVING the settings after turning off Electric Sport Sound? You need to tap on the checkmark that is in the upper left corner of the car graphic, which should produce a message saying that your settings were saved.
