That’s because you asked to be notified when the adapter is available for sale.

The free adapters are not given by dealerships but by Porsche directly. You get an email to request a free adapter and done: that’s how it’s done in the US and Canada.

Everything else is fluff and misinformation.

If you haven't received an email, check the Inbox in the My Porsche app (Account -> Inbox icon in upper right corner). I got a notification there a couple of days after I received the email.

Used a third party adapter at a local Tesla supercharger yesterday. All went well and worked as expected. Got about 127 kW up to about 70%, then rapidly dropped below 100 kW up through to 80%. One thing to watch out for: After charging, the toggle for Plug-and-Charge In the Porsche charging app in the car was toggled to OFF. Let me know if anyone else finds this to be the case.

I chatted with Porsche customer service Friday and they said the emails are getting sent out in batches on Mondays as they work through inventory availability, and that eventually all Macan EV owners will get an email (no word on how long this process will take)

It's not a generic announcement, it's an email inviting to order the free NACS adapter.
That's what people are hoping to get next, several of us already got it (AFAIK, only 2025 Macan, no 2024 owner got it yet).

I'm a '24 owner and I got my email to order the adapter and shipping notification from Fedex. I'm in Canada though, so perhaps we get it first?? (that would be a first )
