Macan EV w dashcam wiring - install trouble

I have a 2025 Macan EV w dashcam wiring option installed. Having difficulty installing the Viofo A329s dashcam. I think I’ve got the adapters figured out for the coax cable. I’ve installed the 6 pin power adapter, but not getting any power from it. I installed the fuse in the front trunk and the fuse in the front passenger foot well.

Has anyone figured this out?

I configured my Macan 4 with a dash cam install set up, but I’ve not moved forward with the camera so I’ll be watching this thread. I’m curious and it’s something I would like to do. Not sure on type of camera and if the PORSCHE dealer should do it, but I get the impression they don’t like to install aftermarket. Thank you for posting.

Why not have the dealer install it for you??

I have not found any docs on any of the following:
- fuse box locations
- description of each fuse within each fuse box
- part number for the mating cable connector for the dash cam option

There is documentation right here.

For my installer, it was easier to run the back camera coax in his standard way down the roofline on the passenger side and skip the pre install coax. Fewer panels needed to be accessed in the rear, and there are fewer connections to fail

I have seen that thread. I followed the advice best I could, but still no power to the overhead console. How did your installer get the ACC power?

They do offer installing Porsche dashcams (at least in other countries) as they make money.

Really?? Wow, not nice. I know that with a FitcamX they have a connector for their dash cam that ties in with the rain sensor. Not sure how difficult it is to install using that ….

The FitCamX install is quite straightforward. A seasoned installer should be able to do it in 30 minutes. They also have YouTube videos for how to do it.
