MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25

I decided to leave the update until I saw it being installed trouble-free. My car is now booked in mid December and no cost involved. The 3 campaigns were installed recently so the update is not being done as part of that. I was told the 3 campaigns are not a safety issues so they are not mandatory recalls. I’m interested to know what the important recall updates are for your car.

The dealership just mentioned that they were important updates when the booking was kept for me. Then when I collected he said it was the v28.13 campaign, but didn't go into detail.

Just got mine back today - and I'm seeing the same screenshot that was posted earlier (dec 5/kernel 2025). Don't want you to lose sleep but I think it's reasonable 28.13 wasn't applied.

AFAIK there isn't a way to check to see if 28.13/whatever revision is installed other than via Porsches equipment.

Side note, with 28.13 it does feel much faster, torque feels much stronger. Wonder if the 0-60 would be lower or if it's in my head.

Any others have a view?

Gotta ask this… why are we looking at the Android build data? I thought Android just runs the PCM?

It does only run the PCM, but in the absence of any other way to confirm an upgrade has been applied we’re left with this.

I think the assumption is that some Android Automotive components did get updated as part of 28.13 too.

This is true, but it's the only indicator that something has been updated. It seems Porsche isn't doing the ota updates for the PCM

The only module version I can retrieve from Carscanner is for the CAN Gateway. This screenshot is after the update. I didn't capture before. If someone can provide before version we can compare.

Is that all? I can read every module in my ID.3. I will do a scan over the weekend. I don't have the update. I was hoping to read all modules, mark down the versions and after the update mark down the updated versions so I know which modules have changed.
This way you can silence forum members claiming better acceleration/milage/etc. like dude this update xxx was for the camera, infotainment and SOS module, stop dreaming..

I can pull all module versions for my EV6 but I can only see OBD2 and CAN Gateway modules for the Macan
