And I'm glad there is no one-pedal driving. Many prefer it as it is.
And neither the Porsche Taycan nor the electric Cayenne feature one-pedal driving.

"I could only find a charger to give me 100kw, so this car is likely only good for around town" Seems like a bold statement to make for a 280 mile range car (EPA) that can charge faster if you don't just head for the Tesla chargers!

He should stick to reviewing iPhones, his car reviews are really trash. Only because he can afford a 911 now doesn’t make him a good car reviewer.

It is interesting to read the comments on YT though. Shows the sentiment of why Porsche is not selling well in the US.

Yeah, because 1-pedal driving is obviously what someone care the most about in a GTS, a driver's car that Porsche deliberately tuned with the firmest suspension in the lineup. But sure, the real priority is being able to come to a stop without touching the brake pedal.

Seriously, this is what happens when people review cars without having the slightest understanding of what the typical Porsche buyer actually wants.

As much as I enjoyed watching his early tech review videos, he should really not be doing car reviews. Him being one of the few reviewers of the Luce shows what his target audience is.

He totalled his Model S, totalled his 911 and he was caught speeding in a school zone. That says something about his driving skills as well.

the price is really the only thing ppl can use against the car... Marques is basically comparing it against cheaper tesla's...and Miles was comparing it against more the expensive Cayanne...

it's kinda annoying...

and he went on about the charging, i knew it was because he was going to Tesla stations....He kinda didn't seem as knowledgeable about the car as he should have. He usually has the car for weeks before he does these videos...but it didn't seem like the case this time.

Another useless reviewer that knows nothing about the brand or cars in general. I agree, he should stick to the gadget reviews and even then, I do not find them too informative either besides having early access to them then talking when walking with no substance. He has done zero research and mentioned zero new things that 2026 is offering. What is he comparing it to anyways, a car that is made every 30 seconds and 3x the Model Y price tag is the attention grabber, give me a break. Model Y performance is $60k and you can get a nice Macan EV for $120k. Just because he got some over optioned $150k example, does not mean you have to spend 3x to get one.

I can add a couple more to prove my point how clueless he is.
Anyone starts bringing up one pedal when reviewing a Porsche and having no curiosity of why.
Anyone mentioning that the dash clock is useless is completely ignorant of the heritage of the brand.
I was going to wait for him to bring up the shifter, then I have another one coming for him, as this is not a random design choice, but pretty sure he would not know a thing about it.

He is a good presenter, but honestly not super insightful or knowledgeable. I stopped watching when he started shilling his Ridge wallet/chargers and I got the distinct impression at one point that he was being paid to shill for certain Android devices.

it doesn’t surprise me at all that he tried a non-Tesla EV and said “durr this isn’t great at a Tesla station, how do I charge it on a trip”.

"Speeding in a school zone" is a very mild way of saying he drove 96mph on a residential street next to a school with kids around

I remember when this guy was doing phone reviews that were basically him regurgitating press releases, and he'd still get it wrong half of the time. I couldn't watch anything from him after that.

Skipped over the review, I like the style I think you are all being too harsh, he's not an automotive journalist, plenty of channels of that kind to follow, for his audience it's fine, at least he picked up a couple of the weaknesses which I agree with 100%:
- grossly overpriced (even for a Porsche, it's my 2nd one)
- not good looking enough (it's obviously no looker (taycan) but also very disappointing compared to a 2014 Macan, very bloated/rounded, not athletic enough)
- zero leg room in the back (a lot less space than a hatchback, yes I measured)
- cheap scratchy piano black (for the price this is a crime)
- no 1 pedal drive (I have on my other German EV and I want it, "real" Porsche owners don't have to switch it on, should be an option
- does not drive like a Porsche (owned Porsche/VW/Audi/etc. for 10+ years, this drives more like the Audi it's based on (this is not true of the Gas Macan/Q5)
- useless passenger screen (cannot comment as do not have it; the only benefit is less of that cheap piano black but way too expensive for that, 1K+)
- Burmester for 5K is daylight robbery, even with how awful the Bose sounds the price for the BM is eye-watering
- probably some more I missed as I just skipped over the video

I was equally confused why he had a problem with the Macan's pricing but didn't seem to have an issue with the significantly more expensive Cayenne.
