How hard is Chalk interior to keep clean?

I am a Chalk only interior person and have 2 cars with Chalk and 1 Pebble (that is even brighter) with it and now ordered 4th with Chalk/Black. I have Taycan in a Chalk leather at almost 3 years and 25k miles and it is looking new. I mostly wear jeans and you have to be careful not to scrub the...

    GTS delayed

I just checked with my dealer if there are any delays with GTS production. They have assured me that there are no delays that they are aware of, may be specifically to my build, expected to lock on Apr 30, with delivery to Baltimore port, and arrival to me in Indiana in early July. Of course...

my new 2026 macan ev turbo (with photos)

There is no evidence in the internal documents or on the configurator that the AC charging port now is NACS Native (Tesla kind). All docs just state that NACS DC adapter is included but that is for DC charging indicating that DC charging port is still CCS. Or you are just referring to the AC...

2026 Macan4 has bigger EPA range then MY 24 or MY 25. Why?

WLTP for MY2026 from corporate EU: (internal only doc) EPA for MY2026 from corporate USA: https://www.porsche.com/usa/models/macan/macan-range/

my new 2026 macan ev turbo (with photos)

Track Endurance and left tube Battery screen should now have Max Charge possible under current conditions.

So happy with range on first long trip

Great report giving us hope that this type of range is achievable, supported by spectacular efficiency of 28.1kWh/100miles (94.9kWh usable by 28.1kWh would equal to 337 mile range). Perfect ambient temperature, and battery temperature (left tube), and regen sure helped in stop and go, but I...

Is Dolomite Silver the best color for masking dirt and dust?

100% agree. GT Silver Metallic is the original silver classic. I was only going to go a few years back, not half a century ;)

Is Dolomite Silver the best color for masking dirt and dust?

No intent to upset you. This is a Dolomite Turbo at my dealer and sure looks great for anyone set on a classic Silver.one

Is Dolomite Silver the best color for masking dirt and dust?

All personal preference. My view is that Chalk/Crayon is the best exterior hiding exterior dirt and looks very premium in bright sun. I do not agree with Black interior, which to me is the worst, the best one to me again is the Chalk/Crayon Black dual tone that gives a nice balance. As far as...

    GTS delayed

This is expected given major global events. I have one for anticipated July delivery, but I am not even locked yet. I think we may not be seeing our cars for some time if global events do not calm down.

Macan EV door closing is really poor

Thermal glass is much thicker as it is double glass with a film in between. As a result, it is much more sturdy on frameless doors for Macan EV and Taycan that significantly improves rigidity of the doors resulting in much better door closing and door closing sound. If you have 2 cars side by...

Macan EV door closing is really poor

This is why I recommend for that reason alone to go with thermal glass. I have it on the Taycan that is frameless and the doors closing experience is superb. Do not have Macan EV yet, but ordered one with thermal glass for that reason.

Macan EV driver display configuration is too rigid

Please see left tube, that is the most useful display of all and here is why, well this is a 2026 GTS so it has an extra goodie to the left that shows the max speed the battery can accept (given SoC and Battery Temp), but on the right you have battery temp and that bracket that shows you optimal...

Macan EV driver display configuration is too rigid

Configurability is limited to Porsche heritage. So you will see analog Speedo on the left and Tach would be center, etc. on ICE cars. I would recommend using Battery info on the left, Speedo Center with Power meter center, then vitals on the right with 12v battery key, that is most useful to...

Physical Brakes getting a little Grabby

This has to do with brakes hardly used and in the dry air just getting sticky. You only have a couple of stops to make when regen is off after nonuse, so that is the time to really lean into the brakes. This almost needs to be a regular thing when you know the regen is off to give the pads and...

    TRIP STATUS- and range issues

Tesla and Rivian stations are 400v so Macan EV will only max at 150kw by design. While the Macan can handle up to 270 kW on 800V chargers, it is limited to lower speeds on 400V V3/V4 Superchargers.

New Google Maps Now Worth Using

Pre-heating is essential to receive the max charging performance along the entire charging curve. Just driving the car, will NOT heat up the battery. Only if you use aggressive so called yo-yo method it may heat it up while driving. These are optimal charging conditions, and the car is smart...

New Google Maps Now Worth Using

I agree. Anything is better than the PCM map for mapping, however, you need to point to the charger to initiate battery pre-heating and also PCM does a good job only listing supported Tesla chargers (they must be open to non-Tesla vehicles).
