We have come a long way from 3 years included, then to 1 year, and now you are on your own.
My Taycan has 2 months left of free charging under the 3 years. My 2026 GTS will have none.
There is no mention of it in the Standard Equipment list. Therefore, no more free charging included would be my interpretation. However, any 2026 US owner can confirm if that is not the case.
You say you want Performance, but you did not add Sports Chrono that gives you Sports Plus mode.
GT steering wheel is a good choice, but you need to be sure you like it over the Standard.
I also see you did not add Matrix Lights or Adaptive Cruise Control (most regret not getting it).
There is no harm done by doing this for cell rebalancing purposes. This is directly from corporate and documented in a TSB and if you skip this step, you are not going to let the car initiative rebalancing sequence.
And you would be correct, 100% recommendation applies to LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) EV batteries. Macan EV battery is a common NMC type that is not recommended to be charged to 100%, specifically NMC 811–class chemistry (high‑nickel NMC) the same family used in the Taycan and Audi PPE‑platform...
Complete and total nonsense, so let's agree not to listen to clueless dealers, that is the advice.. If they say, corporate told them, then let's see some proof. I have access to internal docs and the chemistry while improved did not change the fundamentals of battery care from Taycan. I can...
Same thing happen with the Taycan. I test drove 2020, 2021, 2022 and then placed the order for the 2023 that has been flaweless. We have to trust that they follow continuous improvement principles as they get feedack from the field. I cannot image they do not if owners bring them to dealers to...
Yes, there is more energy loss past 80%. Using parking lot analogy, when parking lot is 80% full, electrons take more time and energy to find a spot. There is no point of charging past 80% unless you really need it for a long trip and you start using up that energy right away as best practice.
I do not know anything about bid sites, but this will not sell, unless it is a give away. There is a 2025 Turbo on my dealer lot with $141k sticker and few miles listed for $90k and after a few months not a single hit on it, with my dealer saying that they did not even open a door on it in all...
Not possible. Original Taycans came with a FoD option to add either or both ALK and InnoDrive if equipped with ACC. That is not available for Macan EV or J1.2 Taycans at least at this time.
I am a Chalk only interior person and have 2 cars with Chalk and 1 Pebble (that is even brighter) with it and now ordered 4th with Chalk/Black.
I have Taycan in a Chalk leather at almost 3 years and 25k miles and it is looking new. I mostly wear jeans and you have to be careful not to scrub the...
I just checked with my dealer if there are any delays with GTS production. They have assured me that there are no delays that they are aware of, may be specifically to my build, expected to lock on Apr 30, with delivery to Baltimore port, and arrival to me in Indiana in early July. Of course...
There is no evidence in the internal documents or on the configurator that the AC charging port now is NACS Native (Tesla kind). All docs just state that NACS DC adapter is included but that is for DC charging indicating that DC charging port is still CCS.
Or you are just referring to the AC...
Great report giving us hope that this type of range is achievable, supported by spectacular efficiency of 28.1kWh/100miles (94.9kWh usable by 28.1kWh would equal to 337 mile range). Perfect ambient temperature, and battery temperature (left tube), and regen sure helped in stop and go, but I...
