Macan Turbo versus BMW iX M70

The Porsche is a drivers car, the iX isn’t. You really don’t have to go deeper than that. If you are comparing these cars to begin with you might need to reconsider, because I agree what my forum friends said above. The cars are great, but for two completely different things. It sounds rough...

Electric Sport Sound - equip it or not?

It just gives me a headache after a few minutes, not worth the extra money! You get the thrill by acceleration either way😃

Race-tex VS full leather - Thoughts?

I was at the dealership today and ā€œtriedā€ it in the GT3 and in a Macan EV. I decided to stick with the leather option. It is probably awesome for a sports car though. But yeah, a stated above, this is clearly a subjective issue and you probably need patience to maintain it. Thanks for all the...

Race-tex VS full leather - Thoughts?

Thanks for your kind comment! Do you feel any difference for longer journeys? Is it comfortable? I don't mind taking care of the steering wheel at all.

Race-tex VS full leather - Thoughts?

Hey everyone. I’m not entirely sure whether this option is available for the Macan (possibly the GTS), but since this is more of a general Porsche-related topic rather than something specific to the electric Cayenne, I’d really appreciate your honest thoughts on Race-Tex versus leather...

    Avoid the Macan EV!!!

I’d also consider reframing the thread as more of a dealer-specific issue, as some of my forum friends have already pointed out. I’ve personally endured more hardship than most with my Macan, but even so, I can’t confidently say that this is an issue with the platform as a whole or with Porsche...

    2026 BMW iX3 Reviews & Specs are impressive. 400+ mile range, 463 hp / 475 lb-ft torque

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean with ā€the pricing is getting out of handā€? In reference to what? Porsche has always been the more expensive choice, doesn’t matter if its EV or ICE.

Worst 1 year review of the Macan 4 - EVER. 8 months at the dealership for issues.

Not 100% sure yet but I did hear about production in April with delivery in May or beginning of June.

Worst 1 year review of the Macan 4 - EVER. 8 months at the dealership for issues.

I totally agree, this is clearly an outlier case in its purest form. Even though software issues have been reported globally, it’s certainly not on this level. As you pointed out (something I hadn’t even considered), it could be that the car wasn’t properly quality-checked at the factory, or...

[ADVICE] How much discount off MSRP can you expect from ordering a new MY2026 Macan EV?

I got 5% because I ordered it 6 months before launch date so there wasn’t more bargaining room. Discount to loyal customers at my dealer for the Macan is about 8-11%. Keep in mind that Swedish prices range between 20-30% higher than NA prices.

Worst 1 year review of the Macan 4 - EVER. 8 months at the dealership for issues.

Finally, after fighting for almost a year they gave me an option I finally took. They gave me a fair amount of money to buy back the car and a "decent" discount on the new Cayenne electric and the earliest production time available. It isn't the best offer, but at least it is good enough for me...

Macan 4 multiple simultaneous system failures

I would kindly like to disagree and also remind you that I am one of the few that has had these issues stated above which makes my car basically a lemon. In regards to the different warnings, the dealer in accordance with Porsche AG had it in service for about 10-11 months out of my 16 month of...

    Big update suspended?

This has to be related to the Northern america market. We as standard in europe get 11kW on our home chargers with the Macan without any issue. Okay, sometimes it goes between 10,7-11kW but still.

Worst 1 year review of the Macan 4 - EVER. 8 months at the dealership for issues.

Hey guys, quick update. The car has been back in the shop for another two months due to three recurring issues. During this time, they also replaced the high-voltage battery charger (the unit under the rear seat that charges the car, not sure the exact name). I took delivery again two days ago...

Software updates - why is Porsche so far behind.......?

I’ve said this many times and I’ll say it again: if your main expectation is excellent software, Porsche may not be the right brand for you. Porsche excels at building driver-focused cars, not software-first vehicles. The Taycan J1 software issues have been well documented, so this shouldn’t...

Edmunds 1 Year Ownership Test of Their Macan 4 EV

I’m probably one of the few people who actually has grounds to criticize the Macan, considering my car has been in service for almost 80% of my 16 months of ownership. That said, most of the talking points being thrown around are complete nonsense. I won’t go into details, but it often feels...

    4S compared to Polestar 3 and 4?

Thermal insulated windows and 20ā€ wheels will fix your issue. I’m Swedish, but I would never in a million years compare Polestar to Porsche. I remember the sales staff trying to make that comparison themselves when the cars launched at those high prices. In reality, even Swedish customers...
