Are you saying the SW update has crapped your range, or just reset somestatistics/predictions?

330/360 miles in the UK seems an ambitious target for my (new) car, but I hope I can get it there :D !
20inch wheels, plus 25 ambient temp and some slower moving journeys should see it.

Anything else will be working against you.

My 4s last week returned 3.7 miles / kw doing a 50/50 split of dual carriageway and A or B roads over about 200 miles

4S with 26000 miles on the clock. Since the large update I have found my range has dropped from about 360 to 330 when it’s fully charged. Ran it down to 5% last night to see how realistic the range shown is and I had driven 330 miles with 12 miles left so it is accurate. Found things that drag the range down are the night lights (esp full beam) motorway driving and wipers/rain. Also think wacking the vol up on the Bose sub doesn’t help. Biggest surprise has been increase in range from not having the auto full beam on. Mix of A roads and Motorway on commute giving a an average of 3.0 to 3.5. As low as 2.5 in the rain and ice of the winter.
Your actual range is between 95*3.0=285 miles to 95*3.5=332 miles.

The 100% reading after charging is typically a fairytale and will drop after a few short miles. The update has apparently made it more realistic.

330 is great that said.

Warm weather is in your favour right now.

I’m a recently new owner of a Macan 4S. I love the car but, against a WLTP forecasted range of 380 miles, I’m surprised to see actual range at around 100 miles less. I’ve driven conservatively, in Comfort mode, with minimal aircon (15-22C ambient) and headlight usage so am asking if 280 miles is a typical expectation for full charge.
Interesting. I sold my 25 plate in April after 13 months because I just didn’t like it . V*25OU*. 21 in wheels . I rarely got more than 260 miles - less in winter- probably due to it having the aerodynamics of an SUV and handling to match - I have bought an Audi Etron GT Vorspung with advertised range of 380 miles - I’m getting 322 and very happy- considering the underpinnings motor etc are very similar I can only put it down to aerodynamics.

..and a slightly bigger usable battery depending on model year.

Thanks, I will monitor my progress. I do use the regen, I prefer the way it drives with that on, but maybe it damages range more than I thought. I have done a good mix of driving these past two weeks, covering ~900 miles, av is 2.9mi/kWh, but I do rather drive it like my non-EV cars - a bit of a digital right foot :CWL:!
yeah, turn off the regen and let the car coast! it's a beautiful thing! I can go for miles coasting down the hills in my area. Regen would slow me down too much, requiring me to use more energy to keep speed... Coasting is really the way to go.
I have a 4S on 22's...and i'm still 3.2 to 3.6 mi/kwh on avg. I pay no attention to the total predicted miles

Actually it isn’t the Macan 4S and Etron GT Vorsprung both have 105kw batteries. Have you parted company with yours too?
I've never had a Macan EV (Taycans only) and currently sitting on the fence - Cayenne EV is more likely as the Macan is now outdated.

Net battery is relevant and not gross so you are playing with 97kWh. Depending on consumption, those 8kWh could derive 24+ miles and so material when range is average at best.

"Outdated"?
Already?
Its barely been two years.
Many think the Macan is better looking than the Cayenne (but that's a personal opinion).
No doubt internally the Cayenne EV is more premium.
For me, the Cayenne is too big as a daily, mainly, for the two of us in the car and UK city driving.

Yip, in my view.

I'm used to larger vehicles (Panamera, various Cayennes and several Taycans) as they afford more space which is a luxury. That said the Cayenne is the same width and only 20 cm longer. Add RAS and the perception of size issues dissipates.

Unless you have to use parking bays that haven't changed size in donkeys years, I'm even a bit concerned that the Macan is too wide and too long for many .
