Porsche NACS complimentary adapter email

I finally called PCNA because I ordered one through Amazon and wanted to return it if Porsche was providing one. Spoke to three different people. Finally was told it will ship when it ships, and they have no way to track my order. They said, "one day it will just show up at your door." Classic. This is my third Porsche in three years and unfortunately, likely my last.

NACS adapter is back on the Charging equipment section of the Owner’s Manual.

I see the "Chapter" for it... but it has zero content on my app.

I'm beginning to think that they did one production run of the Porsche-labeled adapter and mailed them all out. Now we're just waiting for the next production run. Seems like there's been a long gap since the initial group got their adapters, regardless of when you submitted your form.

Here's some info in case it's helpful to anyone:

I ordered mine immediately after getting the email on Sept 9. Then I got a notification from USPS that a shipping label was created from Porsche NA on Sept 15. I was excited, but the tracking stayed at "label created" and the item was never handed over to USPS. I emailed them last week and they confirmed my order was successfully placed, but no ETA on when it will be available to ship.

I'm not holding my breath...

Joeev, That’s interesting because as far as I recall, all the people who posted here that they received their adapters said it arrived by FedEx. Wonder how they chose which carrier to use.

And while I’m wildly speculating, I’m also wondering if the deal with Elon for use of the superchargers specified only a certain number of adapters be sent out each quarter so as not to overwhelm their chargers (not that there are so many Macan EVs out there that they would clog the network.)
