I just did a factory reset and stayed as guest account, then attempted to charge to no avail. The charger would click and it would go from green to yellow multiple times, I think I counted 5 times before it fails permanently and goes red.
I am sorry, definitely a very frustrating problem. I see you have tried almost everything. Not a bad idea to bring a car to your home to see if it charges. If so, then the problem is with your vehicle. If it doesn’t charge then maybe with the charger or your home. One last thing, maybe check the charger error messages in the Owner’s Manual to see if it helps pointing you in the right direction: Owner’s Manual > Charging equipment Owner’s Manual > Porsche Mobile Charger > Operating manual > Chapter Overview > Operating unit status indicators and error messages

Yea I did read about charging error from my Porsche app, and the error message tells us to check the infrastructure, which I already did by hiring electrician to check. So at this point it seems like the issue is either with the car, or my home. But I'm leaning towards the car more so than the home as I'm not the only person experiencing the charging issue after an update. In order to eliminate my home as a possible cause, I'd definitely need to bring another car to charge at my house. Preferably a different make.

Long shot, but is the frequency of the AC power somehow wrong in your house? It should be 60Hz +/- 3 (5%).

I don't have the expertise or the equipment to be able to do this. I'll just assume the electrician that came would have probably checked that as part of the checks. And if he didn't, then it may be something he didn't think would be relevant.

I tried using Gemini AI to see if it had any insight we haven't considered or talked about yet.

This is what it said:
Electric Macan EV MY26 software update (week 36) for MY24-25 1768239912344-m2

Latest update on my case, I found out one of my neighbours owns a Taycan and a Tesla X. She brought both cars over to test charging and both of her cars charged at my house using my Porsche Mobile Charger. It’s just my car that won’t charge.

When I had issues charging at home the decision from Germany was to change the high voltage charging system that is placed below the rear seats. That fixed all the issues, they diagnosed it over night and sent the info to Porsche AG. This is pretty clear to be a smiliar issue. I am flabbergasted by the incompetence at many dealers around the globe.

Wow, I feel like dealerships in NA need better technicians then. Because everything that has gone wrong with my Macan, they've blamed on software. My backup cameras went black a couple of months ago. I had to take it back 3 times before they finally decided, oh it's the surround view cameras' module that should be replaced. Initially they kept resetting it, and it would work for one drive home, and go black again the next morning. I have had issues with Carplay not connecting since I took ownership of the car, and all they do is reset stuff, or blame on software glitch, and they make me wait for the next update to "fix" the problem. There were also random error messages popping up, some reds, some yellows, but when dealer downloaded the codes, they said they're inactive and they can't find anything wrong. So then they tell me to wait for the next update to "fix" the bugs in the software.
