Software updated. Only a short ride home from the dealership, but the air suspension feels less “wobbly”, and the acceleration and deceleration are both much smoother. Not sure if those are software related in any way, but those changes were noticeable for some reason.
Drove about 120 miles today, mostly highway; first long-ish trip since the software update. My air suspension and acceleration/deceleration... the ride feel is much much smoother and better than it was previously. Now it feels like a Porsche, to me. The wireless charging for the iPhone is now working 90% of the time after just dropping it into the slot; even not completely straight in. Same for my wife's iPhone. We were getting the "Wireless charging not available" message about 90% of the time previously. It is now just the opposite. I also feel like the car charging at Electrify America today went somewhat faster than previously.

it has happened to me - I now leave the car in drive - when it did happen to me the doors WERE locked - and both sides opened at once (something that shouldn't happen)

the "keep it in drive" work around is what I use - but I'd still like it fixed.
We keep our 2024 Macan Turbo in Neutral with foot on the brake in stationary car washes - works like a charm.

Got the update yesterday here up north in Montréal Canada (along with the luggage compartment but NO seat belt clip (Indon’t care).

But ever since, the my Porsche app updates the status of the car but I cannot send timers nor precondition the cabin to the car. It spins and spins and spins, then it tells me that the function is unavailable and no data can be sent to the véhicule….
Logged out and back in the app with no avail.

any clues?

Even though I was informed by my SA during delivery of my car, just recently I managed to make it work. When stationary on level road/ground (when there's 5% or more uphill/downhill the auto brake automatically engage = "READY HOLD" on the main display) we can engage the auto "handbrake" function and get the "READY HOLD" on the main display as well by 2 quick and subsequent slightly hard pressings on the brake pedal.I found it to be quite useful during long stops in the traffic jam and any other prolonged stops as well. This way I can move my foot from the brake pedal just like I did with my other cars (manual gearbox) until now.

one deep push on the brake pedal does the trick for me

Light positive pressure (single) as per any Porsche model on the brake pedal is all that is typically needed to engage HOLD. If on a slope of sufficient gradient it should engage automatically upon detection of rolling.

I got mine booked in for 5th of January. Apparently Porsche London is looking to update around 3,000 cars so a long wait. Can’t wait to get some of the issues sorted (hopefully)

I had this "problem" after the software update. for me it was sufficient to erase and reconnect the phone. PS: what is a "factory reset" of the PCM?
Well the hotspot password requirement has changed, not with the update in the garage but I guess an OTA of the PCM, some other people experienced this as well, for me and some other people it was suffice to give the hotspot a new password that met the new security requirement … so in the end no PCM reset needed 😅

That was my experience too, as per above.

After the update, all the dash Christmas lights and assistance errors are returning - all the same errors and problems as before the upgrade. I don't think this 'update' actually fixed them, just masking them differently. After seeing the service departments systems that show only parameter changes, I am actually not surprised, but I am disappointed.
That is disappointing! The feature I was most looking forward to from the software update was elimination of the recurring Assistance Systems Limited warnings. I haven’t gotten them yet during the first week since I got my 4S back from service, but I’m not optimistic since I’ve already experienced the issue where no sound comes from the speakers until I exit/lock the vehicle and return about 30 minutes later.

Good to know.
Mine is due for an update on the 1st December.
@SuperH has had a lot of issues with that. It would be good to see her feedback on this :)
I just don't use auto speed recognition feature any more. I manually change speed limit and have got used to it - just a flick of the stalk.
Just picked my car up after update. Didn’t recognise a 30 mph sign as 80mph on way home where it used to. So keeping my fingers crossed. Will have to now see if yellow high voltage fault when charging from car scheduler has gone away.

Not noticed any other changes on the hours drive home …… apart from the passenger seat belt does not rattle on the track that Cheshire east says is a perfectly serviceable riad.

pretty sure the manual states it's 16% incline...and like others have noted, its just pushing the pedal down to a certain point to engage the hold...
