it fits the backset perfectly, but does not fill the space on the front...i'm not sure it needs honestly. i find it peculiar that the specific pads wouldn't be available to buy from Porsche

Let me know if you have any issues when you actually jack it up. Maybe I did something wrong? I have never seen a jack pad from Porsche for their vehicles. Only aftermarket. Audi and VW have them occasionally. I will be happy to hear if it worked well for you, I will revisit this one for myself for sure if so.

I just received the floor jack adapter pad that krissrock linked two posts above (#33). I am impressed! Here is what I just wrote to a friend/fellow forum member who is thinking about perhaps getting one for himself:

“You are right that it is just 3-D printed material, but the precision of how it is made, how it fits into the bottom of our Macan is amazing. It literally friction-fit stays in place for about 1/10th of a second before falling onto the floor. And its base is so big it will allow a regular floor jack to completely fit underneath and fully support it. I have no reservations using it on mine, certainly far better than a regular floor jack’s top mauling the factory receiving piece. “

I purchased a Used matching wheel that I keep in the garage and take with me on long trips to use as a spare.

Here a comparison to the powerflex model.

i had no issues with the powerflex. It did slot into the semi-circle part of the jackplate, and the front part fit fine...it just didn't go up.
This ebay option is about 30% cheaper, and fits the plate like it's supposed to...

FWIW, my Porsche dealer does not even use any adapters to raise the Macan EV. I find that very concerning considering that the Macan EV lifting points are not flat and even surfaces. Lifting the EV without adapters concentrates the 5,341/4=1,335 lbs onto a much smaller area than what was designed by Porsche.

As Fun TC Driving already mentioned, they are so perfect in shape that they stay in place when inserted into the jacking slots. This makes my life a lot simpler since I need not worry about movement when lifting the Turbo.

I purchased the 7000TL bundle for lifting capacity. EV's are really heavy with empty weights hovering just over 5000 lbs. The 5000TL is limited to 5000lbs. I did not want to risk the vehicle falling on top of me. I also own a 2023 Volvo XC40 Recharge (EV) and after doing the measurements exercise QuickJack suggests, the 7000TL fits the wheel base of all my vehicles.

Thanks, looks like they only sell a 6000TL/X and 8000TL/X these days. I agree with your concern about weight and so I may go with the 8000TL.
