I'm Officially Out - Porsche Did The Right Thing!

Congratulations to you for your determination and efforts. Was yours leased, financed or purchased? I am curious to know if Porsche brought you back to square one when you purchased or if they deducted some amount.

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

Factory reset completed, although it took well over 30 minutes to finish loading. I re-created my Porsche ID and the route planner inaccurate battery remaining issues reported earlier appear to have been resolved; food for thought.

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

I tried the Guest account and the route planner is accurate. I am going to do a factory reset as I am unable to delete the main user account. I suspect my Porsche ID account file is corrupt.

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

I suspect you are right on the software bug. The frustration comes from being BETA testers while paying so much money. It's my fault for being overly enthusiastic in ordering and purchasing a launch luxury vehicle. Three weeks ago, I purchased a 2026 Toyota RAV4 PHEV XSE sixth generation and...

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

It may "remember" past consumption or specific to and / route consumption too. It certainly appears to retain "past" information that negatively affects the range output as we poor saps are having to manually reset the BMS through the up and down re-calibrations that are being discussed at...

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

Interesting... I checked out the links and they are / seem directed towards and for the Taycan. The Macan does not have an intelligent route planner and from what I have observed, it is mostly disingenuous at best. As far as your claim for taking "weather" into consideration. Porsche does...

Battery cells reset/rebalancing after erratic SoC readings

Yep! I hear you loud and clear. This is my third EV and I still own two (well 1 ½... the Macan is a Piece of Sh*t to me). Unfortunately, your experience is what is expected from a car that cost many of us $100 a day to lease at a rate of 4.99%. From what I am reading on this Forum I am not...

Battery cells reset/rebalancing after erratic SoC readings

By driving experience you are including my experience where it took 11 hours to drive 500 kms when it would have taken 5 ½ in a Chinese BYD.

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

What is the source of the information you posted? My Porsche app downloaded owner’s manual does not display that info but does mention the content being created using AI. Not trying to be rude with you nor trying to discredit your contribution. I am simply trying to figure out how this...

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

...speed changes, for sure. However, elevation changes and weather conditions - I doubt it very much. We're in the realm of ABRP here and I doubt they sold any data to Porsche. The problem I reported is an easy one: the BMS is not in sync with the actual battery SOC. I can't have more remaining...

    ROUTE MONITOR - NAVIGATION

The route monitor shows a battery remaining of 56% at destination but my actual battery level is 42%. What exactly is the route monitor battery % reflecting? Anyone with road trip experience and knowledge appreciated.

PORSCHE CHARGING PLANNER - MACAN TURBO 20225

Had an issue with battery balancing (200 km range @ 100% SOC and charge speeds on DCFC 300 kW chargers providing less than 30 kWh) and ended up taking car to dealer to see if their PIWIS would indicate some required updates. The technician noticed that my PCM route/charge planner had a...

Battery cells reset/rebalancing after erratic SoC readings

I feel the need to chime into this thread. Just last week, I drove from Montreal to Saguenay, Québec, a ~500km road trip that should have taken six hours with one stop for recharge but took 11 hours to accomplish. Knew nothing about high-voltage battery SOC balancing / resetting etc... it's...

Powered Charge Port Door - Be Careful

But it looks like two tabs that need to be squeezed and the entire flap mechanism simply pulls straight out.

Powered Charge Port Door - Be Careful

The electric charging port door closes automatically after 5 seconds after removing the vehicle plug. The small plastic cover for the DC fast charging is spring loaded to close automatically after puling the charge plug but sometimes remains mechanically latched open. This has happened twice and...

HEATED STEERING WHEEL - 2025 TURBO

I used my infrared thermometer and the steering wheel temperature reached 40°C. The heat distribution was not equally distributed around the steering wheel. It also took approximately 15 minutes to attain any sort of appreciable warmth. Test was done in my garage, which is at 15°C.

    The Ambiguously Grey Turbo

The Dolomite Silver or GT Silver are classic Porsche colours and my favourite. The GT Silver is not offered on all models but the Domomite Silver usually is part of the no-cost palette on the configurator. The car looks clean even when not...and when the sun shines, the shades are incredible...

    The Ambiguously Grey Turbo

Hello Reno, Here in Montreal, Canada, which is part of the province of Quebec, the law requires all passenger vehicles to change to winter rated tires between 1st Dec to 15 March. This perennial tire swapping causes excessive tire and rim wear & tear and major headaches when most drivers wait...
