They look good figures and what I'd expect.

How chilly has it been may i ask?
Impressive figures. This is a snippet from one of the Kyle's long runs in 2025 Taycan RWD.

There's nothing wrong with a range estimate of 260 on a new car in the cold. The range is probably a maximum of 330 miles in ideal conditions (72 degrees, flat highway, 60 mpg). You take losses for cold and any time you start/stop/warm the car.

260 mixed use in the cold seems right. I'm sure you can get a bit more on a highway at reasonable speeds.

What range are you hoping for in the cold?

I checked this morning and the car has averaged 2.4 miles / KW with 65% highway and 35% local after 350 miles. Was expecting for 2.9 - 3+

It's now chilly in UK (even snow in parts) so your range will be hammered because of this. A cold battery (12C) will not deliver much more than what you are getting and if only doing short journeys it will have no time to heat up. Just as well the car has a larger useable capacity (95kW - 228 miles at your current consumption level) than the Taycan to hopefully give you 250 miles or so depending. In the summer months / warmer ambient temperature you should get up to 280+ miles or a little more.

Still a new car so the miles may increase but don't expect miracles and 100% forget WLTP consumption data as it is lab based / non-real world.

So the good news is you're probably seeing the worst range the car will ever get. 350 miles isn't out of the break in period, your car only recently activated regen, and the cold temperatures hurt.

I'd wager you've also maybe played with the car a bit. Accelerating, braking, etc.. more than normal.

I bet if you got on a highway and drove at 60-70mph for an hour you'd see closer to (if not over) 3.

Give it at least a few hundred miles before you get too concerned. The cold is always going to hurt range more than anything else. Freezing temperatures can easily account for a 35% loss.

You'll also see really poor efficiency numbers in the cold if you're doing short commutes where the car has time to cool and has to heat again. This doesn't mean your actual highway/road trip range is that low.

what the dealer told you is correct charge, drive and wait you'll see that after a while and a couple of thousands miles the data will be realistic.

I went on a small trip yesterday, the car's odometer is about 3000 km and the temperature was between 30-35 degrees C.
I departed in the morning with the battery at 88% and returned in the evening with the battery at 17%.
The total distance I drove was 293 km, the average speed was 105 km/hour, ranging from 120 km/hour (most of the time) to 150 km/hour with an average consumption of about 22 kw/hour. This means about 3.9-4 km/kw and I have to stop for charging the battery every 200-250 km.

I took delivery 10 days ago and a full 100% charge only Macan 4 displays a range of 260 Miles.

Yesterday on a cold day with 11% charge it displayed a range of 2 miles.

I complained to Porsche Solihull and was told this was normal and it can take upto 4000 miles before you get optimal range.

I am not convinced ?. Appreciate any advice

Unless I got a super sized battery that I didn’t know about, I would say that the, estimating software was coded by an engineer with an algorithm issues. Any one else seeing this.?

Unless I got a super sized battery I would say the estimating software is gone loopy. Anyone else seeing this kind of number?
