Extended Leather: which panel exactly is in leather?

Hi guys,

After a few days of searching on these forums, I've modified my order to include extended leather.
I didn't want to have regrets later, even if it seemed a bit expensive for just the top of the doors.

But it's more extensive than I originally thought, with even the bottom dashboard parts.

From the description it says "Door panels", however I can't really find out whether that means every single panels of the door, or some of it.
Does anyone know exactly which panel exactly is in leather?

I didn't opt for this, couldn't really tell the difference, especially in black. if your leather is a different color, maybe, but ...

I thought you get stitching on the doors, more leather on the bottom panels of the doors. The center console store area”handles” are also wrapped in leather. I wish I did it because it wasn’t that much more and prefer the look. I have the black and chalk leather and the white stitching stands out.

Regardless of color if one selects extended leather all of the following parts are in real leather as a consequence.

Top and middle part. You will be happy with it, money well spent. Extended leather adds a much more premium feel to this car (I compared mine with extended leather and some loaners with basic leather - it was quite a difference in looks, smell and quality).

I was indeed assuming the bottom part which also has the storage space wasn’t.

And yeah, it does change the whole feeling of the car, even if slightly expensive.

To add to the chorus, I included the extended leather on my Turbo and have no regrets (all black interior with black accent package). I even swapped the carbon fiber door inserts for leather.

The leather surfaces have a different texture and sheen (more matte) compared to the non-leather panels that feel more cohesive with the leather seating surfaces. The most notable improvements (to me anyway) are: (i) the top of the door panels where, in addition to the leather surfaces matching, the stitching continues the line on the upper dash panel; and (ii) the centre console "grab" surround where the underside is clad in leather vs. hard textured plastic. Both of these are high touch surfaces where an arm or hand can feel the difference. I know for many these are unimportant and not worth the expense to upgrade but I value the in-car experience as much as the performance and exterior design.

I highly recommend the full extended leather interior, it’s outstanding! I also optioned the center console surround on my Turbo ev and it’s so much nicer than the standard plasticky trim, also comes w your choice of stiching color

I got as much leather as I could in Club leather truffle Brown including back of the seats, seat consoles, center console. I even added the decorative stitching option. I messed up the fixed luggage compartment cover because I thought the Turbo model cover would come default in Race-tex like the ceiling but got it wrong. The 2026 model year has the dashboard end trims now in leather which I would definitely add if I had to reorder this SUV.

The Club leather interior is by default "extended" with higher quality smooth leather. In the Macan Turbo's case, it is also limited to a single colour which is entirely in Truffle brown including the stitching colour minus the steering wheel which is black. If you want to change the stitching colour then that's another very expensive option of decorative stitching.

I enjoy the Porsche vehicle outside design and even more the quality of their materials. Hence, I went all out for interior comfort.
