I've been recently travelling to a construction site that gets very muddy and slippery after heavy rains. With the wheels slipping and sliding the car forward through the muck, I hear a clicking sound that I am imagining is something like a differential engaging/disengaging the different wheels...
To add to the chorus, I included the extended leather on my Turbo and have no regrets (all black interior with black accent package). I even swapped the carbon fiber door inserts for leather.
The leather surfaces have a different texture and sheen (more matte) compared to the non-leather...
I recently noticed that the rear camera washer on my 25 Turbo is no longer spraying the lens. I can hear what sounds like a pump running when I initiate a wash from the screen but no washer fluid comes from the nozzle. I confirmed that there is fluid in the reservoir and the front windshield...
I don't know if this will help (since your noise seems to be in the dash area) but I thought I'd give you my experience solving the rattle in the passenger area of my 25 Turbo (I posted this in April in another thread so apologies if you've already read this).
After 5 months of rattle free...
I'd like to find a no-drill solution but prefer not to mount on the lower lip and ideally centered rather than offset to one side. Has anyone on this forum tried modifying a Carbonio (or similar) mount for their Macan EV? In the example below, a 911 Turbo mount is used with new holes drilled...
Sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience. I live in Toronto where our potholed, frost-heaved, lack of civic funds roads are in terrible condition. Suffice to say that I was really worried about spec'ing the 22s for my Turbo last fall (but I couldn't fight my irrational love of the...
While everyone will have a different view of what is considered a harsh ride, I have the 22 inch Sport wheels on my Turbo and I think they ride quality is excellent. Of course there is some harshness over broken pavement and potholes but nothing worse than what I feel with my Mercedes E450 wagon...
I have the insulated glass and have no regrets --- road noise is minimal (I have 21 inch winters and 22 inch all-seasons). Together with Burmester, long highway trips have been an absolute pleasure.
I picked up my Turbo in December and made it through our typical Toronto slushy, salt-sprayed...
So after 5 months of rattle free driving, I started hearing a very subtle rattle in the cabin. I couldn't quite place where it was coming from but after poking around a bit, I happened to press lightly against the roof liner (in the area of your photo) and the rattle subsided. I ran my finger...
My feelings as well. I occasionally turn on Sport Sound when I'm doing some spirited driving but generally have it turned off. Likely not worth the money for most buyers.
