4s vs GTS -what to order??

I honestly don't think so. To do so overlooks the fact that a GTS is effectively a detuned Turbo.

Turbo will be quicker in a straight line no question.

GTS chassis is tuned better and both have PTV+.

I suspect they will be very closely matched and no doubt one of the journalists will go to print soon.

Comes down to the skill of the driver and most mere mortals (myself included) won't have the driving skills to find out and so an academic differentiation at the end of the day.

We have not seen a test drive yet, so we don't know about the tuning but I wouldn't get my hopes up. The GTS is usually the "sweet spot", but not often the "best". Either way, the Turbo is incredible, and I expect the GTS will be incredible too.

The deal ive got on the GTS is almost the same as the 4s but with more kit and its way cheaper than the Turbo - so it might be a sweet spot for me.

Now trying to decide on interior colour!

That is a very good deal. 4S vs GTS is a no brainer to me, I'd go GTS all day every day.

Yes I probably will, wish they had more attractive 21s you choose from though!

It will be heavier ! Unless you really need such a large beast as the Cayenne all the time I would buy a van and a sensible sized car or even an estate car. Just my 2p as most Range Rover sized cars seem to be driven by one person or + kids and are a menace to park etc etc. of course there are many other factors which come into play!

I had a bigger beast before so was really happy with downsize. 80% of times Macan is enough but there were limitations and kids will grow. We do a fair share of long distance drive for just a few days (latest 1000 mile trip to Cumbria for 4 days). Although Macan is manageable, I really don't like a cluttered car. I usually use the Mini for shorter drives in the city if space not needed.

If the GTS was out when I pre-ordered the 4S, based on the extras you get with it I would have likely gone for the GTS for that bit extra.

I collated these images of similar Taycan wheels to put your mind at ease, i.e. wheels that are originally black with chrome edging, that have been subsequently painted a single colour (black and gloss black here), I don't think they look too bad at all... the anthractite 21's will look far better IRL than in the configurator renders IMO.

Nice configuration - plenty of assistance equipment there.

After the wheels, interior selection was my biggest dilemma - a quick visit to a showroom with my daughter we seen a racetex interior on another model and loved it - very expensive of course but decided what the hell - its a lease and also speaking to a local detailer about ongoing upkeep which sounds better than I expected.

Thanks for sharing these pics, definitely puts my mind more at ease so will see how they look in the metal.

I would guess some videos will start to appear online soon with test drives of the gts & also in Lugano blue - although not sure I want to see it before hand - not that it will look the same in person. It never does!
