This is what I see and have to toggle the button to get the charging going again.

So let me get this straight. You delete all the departures in the car and they randomly reappear in the car again? Or are they departures from your app? Are these departures showing on both your app and the car?

I have not seen this direct charging toggle in my app, and I keep up to date with application updates!
This direct charge has been in the app for me since the very beginning, when I got the car in December 2024. Maybe it’s different in the EU and they just added it for you guys.

This happens to me aswell in my MY26

Some of our UK energy suppliers offer intelligent charging, you plug in your vehicle at any time and if the electricity grid allows it will charge the car outside of the usual off peak charging hours. In order to do this the energy provider creates a scheduled departure for some point in the future, once that happens the car becomes unresponsive to both remote commands and charging.

My workaround has been to get the energy company to control my charger and not the car.

Posting latest update on my case here @daveo4EV @FirstEV @Bolt1323 remember how I found a neighbour who brought both her husband’s Taycan, and her Tesla X to charge at my house and it worked for her? And remember how my car charges at my friends’ houses, Porsche manager’s house, and at the dealership? Well I took my car to her house to see if my car charges at her house. She is only a few houses down the road. She has a hardwired Tesla wall box, and her current when charging her car was 236v at the time we tried it on my car. However, her car charges, but mine does not. So my car doesn’t like the homes in my neighborhood. The dealership’s voltage reading was 210v, Porsche manager’s home has 220v. Something about the electricity in my neighborhood is triggering safety flags in my car.

Today I called my Porsche Canada’s case specialist and left him a voicemail about it. Told him that even with all the info I have gathered, my dealership still hasn’t sent the data to Germany yet. Then hours later, near the end of the day around 4:30pm, I get a text from the dealership telling me they’ve sent the case to Germany. 😂 So the trick to get them to get a move on, is to talk to NA headquarters. I am hoping to get some answers by next week if not tomorrow.

FirstEV, you were right about pushing back. Just need to push the people above.

@Yves My connection is grounded.
