My SA seems to believe that there will be a new Sports Design Package for the MY26 Macan, but I’m not seeing that mentioned anywhere else…
It turned up on the GTS, so he was ahead of the curve!

mine has been also a reply, fact is that no matter what the real topic is always the same three people (one of them admittedly do not even own an macan) state some outlandish grievances about the macan.

Yep the new package is in the configurator now. Transforms you sub GTS spec into a GTS.

Credit to the guy, he mentioned it before the MY26 models were announced - I assumed he was wrong when it didn’t show on the MY26 configurator - until a month later when they released the GTS…I may have waited had I believed it was imminent at the time!

Yeah, I just played with the configurator bit and compared a fully optioned Macon 4 and a GTS and the difference turns out to be about 7K more for the GTS (Canadian funds). This is because many of the costly upgrades to bring a Macan 4 up to GTS spec are included as free or much lower cost in the GTS plus in the GTS you get torque vectoring and improved thermal mgmt and track mode suspension settings not available on the Macan 4. INTERESTINGLY, a Macan 4S is more expensive than a GTS when you go deeper into the option vortex of no return 😬

Also learned that you cannot get 20 inch rims on the GTS by ordering on the configurator or any other way. Porsche came back and said they are not approved and they don’t really say why. This is strange because you can get them for the turbo. I suspect it’s because of the special GTS lower suspension setting..

Could also have to do with the fact that the 21 inch come with wider tires. And they really want you to put on these wider tires considering GTS is the 'driver focused' car.

If you want more comfort or range just take a 4S, GTS are always specced rather 'aggressively'.
