All of the individuals who have experienced issues with their cars, myself included, are the ones I am referring to. My car has not spent 9 out of 13 months in the shop because I “enjoy visiting the dealer.” Everything I’ve stated comes directly from my dealer and Porsche AG. In addition, consumers worldwide have received the same information for different issues, all of which trace back to the software.

To reiterate respectfully: it is irrelevant if your car(s) currently operate without issue. The reality is that the software remains faulty, incomplete, and continues to affect a significant number of vehicles.

Gassed for you, fam
thanks - took me embarrassingly long to order, and when I did, the 2025 books had just closed, thankfully the dealer sorted me out with the earliest slot he could for MY26

Turbo!
I was going to order the RWD, but literally missed the last build slot by a day.
Dealer gave me options of a 4 or a Turbo, and decided to go all in on a Turbo instead
Fair play. One end of the spectrum to the other, I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Wonder if the lead times (due to demand) are driving the the fact that a 4 or a turbo are the only MY26 available cars or if there’s some other reason. I’m being told mid Feb from a mid August order for a 4S

Yeah, that’s interesting — looks like they might be prioritising certain specs. But then again, the RWD was still orderable for Oct/Nov delivery until maybe 10 days / 2 weeks ago, but that’s not showing in MY26 now either.

New package 3D Surround View with Active Parking Support, Trained Parking and Reversing Assist at nearby 2300 GBP but does include Comfort Access including Porsche Digital Key. If you option Comfort Access including Porsche Digital Key, 3D Surround View get removed but you can choose surround view. There is a 400 GBP price difference so don't think we get update for 3D, at least not for free.
Really interested if the MY24 and MY25 are hardware-compatible to get this feature with a (paid) software update.

do not count me in when you say „us“. the software in my turbo as well as in our 4s works perfectly (including park assist) and exact as expected. thank you.
Hopefully it will not change For you.

I own my Macan since 2024, all was fine.
A month ago, red circles have appeared, and after 2 dealership interventions, I've planned the third one for exactly the same reason...
I can't afford to stop my car in the middle of nowhere, shut it down, restart it and then drive it for between 5 and 50 km ; and then do it again.
I'm fed up to waste several hours to bring my car to the dealership. I have a job to do.

Something is wrong with my Turbo, and the dealership (meaning Porsche ) is all but able to fix it.

I do understand @FirstEV feelings, and unfortunately actually, I'm one of the "us"...

Sadly I am us as well - 2nd time around. What’s your red circle of death. Mine is drive system failure. Only occurs while stationary.

i am with you! and of course i hope that i will never get problems with my cars. but i am also not happy that this forum is more or less captured by 3-4 members that report a changing variety of problems (one of them does not even own a macan) and pretend that they speak for tens of thousands of macan owners. i am sure there are macan with problems. but this is true for every car on the market.

I wasn’t aware of that. That said no other model was on my radar and I’d imagine the 4S is the most in demand model as a balance between value and performance. Compounded by 3rd party lease companies placing orders with the same dealer for volume related discounts but stacking out their allocations.

With that said two different dealers told me 6 months for my model/spec so there’s some consistency.

Of course I am unhappy that I again got a faulty car, but my main concern is that diagnostics came back negative. Only after others in the UK logged identical faults, Porsche Germany was able to narrow down the cause. Others here are less fortunate. If you can’t identify the cause, you can’t fix the problem. Hardware reset and hoping for the best is simply not good enough for a premium brand. That‘s what Porsche suggested initially and they even went to full length and collected my second key for full reset. They did reset my car but went quiet for a full week afterwards. And for forum etiquette, no one here is speaking for others. They simply reach out to solve problems Porsche can’t.

but is it necessary to misuse every thread for this? this thread is about the features of next years model.
