Standard 8 Way Seats

I recently visited a dealer to view a Macan electric with my wife, and she found the 14-way seats 'pinched' too tight around the thigh/hip area putting pressure on her back (she suffers with back troubles). We didn't get a chance to test any of the other seats, however, the sales guy suggested the GTS, as that has race-tex seats, which might help - he said "softer than the leather options". That wasn't really what I wanted to hear.

I'm not sure, but this has put a big spanner in the works, misses very unsure that she'll be able to get comfortable !

However, reading the other comments above, there is no way I'm having a car like this without memory seats... not available on the standard 8-way, really?

Salesman sniffs a bigger bonus and no logic to his advice!

Did you experiment with all the adjustments - most odd not to find a comfortable setting to be honest?

Alcantara / Racetex is not ideal and harder to maintain IMHO.

I think the comfort seats (either) are the same as per the Macan ICE so why not try that where you should be able to try all combinations including Racetex (GTS model - many folk choose to upgrade to leather though).

I went with the 14 way because you can equip them with massage.

Same, wanted 18-way for superior looks and so much nicer to sit in but unfortunately no massage so had to go 14-way. Another plus of the 14-way is that they are more accommodating to the rear passengers as the space is already very tight in the back.

Ah yeah, my plan is to go for a proper try, and get an extended test drive and give the comfort seats a good try.
