Is it just me or have the mobile app and PCM route planner gone totally dumb over the last couple of weeks?

It ignores preferred charging networks (IONITY in my case), selects charging stations with way less power when literally right next to them are available chargers twice that fast.

On my usual route which I take almost every week it now suggests literally the slowest possible charger even though there are plenty of other high speed chargers available in much more convenient locations including preferred charger IONITY.

You can override it manually in which case the charging time drops and arrival time is much shorter. W#%?

Last week I was in a corner parking lot and set my destination to a charger that was only a few miles away. I exited the lot on the other street (not the one the planner suggested) and took a different route. The planner never adjusted to my new route and kept suggesting routes back to the parking lot and out the other way! I don't think it rerouted until I was at the shopping center with the charger. I don't think that's normal.

Yesterday I planned a route home after a weekend away and was assured I would stop for 5 mins at a preferred Ionity station to get me there. Somehow it rerouted to an Osprey on the way. No idea why?

Since the WSJ0 software update (aka VR28.13) I see initially wrong estimates for short (< 10 miles) and reasonable estimates for longer trips. Short trips show estimates with the same percentage as the start percentage.

Until the update, estimates started reasonable and decreased over time. You usually arrived at your destination with about 2-3% more charge than either the original or final estimate.

Now, the charge percentage estimates increase over time. For a longer trip the initial estimate is usually an accurate prediction of the final battery percentage, but I see an estimate that is higher than the displayed charge at arrival.

I've reported this to the dealer and have tried a few things to solve this problem. They included charging to 100% (instead of my usual 80%) and the usual prescription for a "lock and walk". No luck.

Frankly, the original behavior was annoying but less likely to get you into trouble. So I will probably increase the buffer for charging or just use ABRP for route planning.

My Taycan's route planner worked perfectly for three years, as did the Macan 4 's for a year.

The problem started with my Macan a month before the update, and the update didn't fix it. A PCM reset corrected it in November, but it's happening again, except perhaps for trips requiring charging.
Okay, I'm a typical French complainer ;).... but all these vague explanations and lack of response from Porsche are rather disappointing.
