Range issue?

Hey everyone,

I just picked up a new Macan 4 EV, and I’ve noticed that even at 100% charge, the range display only shows around 110 miles. It’s been sitting roughly two months with a few trips I think. My dealer said the system just needs to recalibrate and that I should drive it more over the next day or two for the range to adjust.

Has anyone else experienced this when the car was brand new or demo car?

If so, how long did it take before the displayed range started showing something more realistic (like 250–280 miles)?

Appreciate any insight or comparisons from other owners!

Yes, it needs a couple of rides before it shows an appropriate range. The manual also states this fact.

Check the My Porsche app, Vehicle -> Vehicle Details -> All Trip Data -> Totals.

There you should be able to see the consumption over the vehicle’s lifetime. Chances are it sat a lot, turned on but not moving, so the consumption per mile would be skewed.

I had the opposite - I collected the car showing 350 miles and having taken my driving into consideration it’s been downhill since then !

Or it wasn't actually driven much, but was turned on a lot while sitting to heat/cool the cabin, etc, using battery while collecting zero miles.

Yeah it exactly was like that. So my average total consumption is around 33-34 and previous trip consumption was around 28-29.

Total consumption is around 33-34 and last trip was 29ish
