It should. You can easily confirm by monitoring SoC not decreasing when preheating function is on AND see if EVSE is providing power to the car.

Mine does seem to pull charge when I precondition it if it’s plugged in.

Just remote climate control - that’s all I’ve tried. I think there’s something funny with our charging set up so I can’t do scheduled departures. Not 100% sure, I should listen more carefully
