Yeah, that’s a really good way of describing it, like a curtain opening. It’s underwhelming on the Macan. I wondered if it was just more subtle, but I think I’m being generous!

I can’t decided if they are better or worse than the matrix headlights I had on my Volvo XC60 (which I thought were very bright, sharp and precise). I tell myself they must be better on my Macan, but I’m not sure they are as they don’t seem as sharp ?

Same here, I had lots of fine scratches which were very obvious under the showroom lights. I made the even bigger mistake of paying for a Porsche to ceramic coat it prior to collection. It wasn’t even properly clean ??

My dream was for a gentian blue Macan and neodyme wheels, but that dream started years ago and when I looked at what seems to be fashionable now, it seems to be black everything. However, with the copper ruby paint I think the neodyme still looks very classy. But, whichever you go for, I think...

The light animation is cool, but I’d probably prioritise extended leather as that is what you will spend most of your time looking at. I wish I could have got it in the colour I went with.

Yep I agree. Maybe it’s a Macan EV thing. “Thing” being a design flaw in this case.

I paid £995 for the same as you in December. It feels like a rip off! The picture quality is decent, but the functionality and faff of actually watching something back or changing any settings frustrates me!!

The door closing is something I asked about in my “masterclass” session. Apparently “it’s a Porsche thing”, particularly with the frameless windows ?‍♀️

Just remote climate control - that’s all I’ve tried. I think there’s something funny with our charging set up so I can’t do scheduled departures. Not 100% sure, I should listen more carefully :CWL:

Mine does seem to pull charge when I precondition it if it’s plugged in.

I’ve got the same 20” 4S wheels as you (and Bridgestone) and mine was delivered 3 weeks ago showing 41psi and +3 all round in the app. We were thinking of reducing them a little but haven’t got around to it yet and not done any significant journeys yet. Interesting to read what everyone else has.

I got mine a couple of weeks before my car arrived in December, but will wait until spring/summer to use it. can only be used Monday to Friday according to my email.

Interesting, thanks for confirming that yours is visible via the app. For live or playback I just get this… so in this case it shows me a minute’s worth of blackness.

My rear camera is showing as blank, it records but it’s just a black screen when I try and playback within the app (the front is fine). The dealer has said I need file splitting software in order to view the rear clips. Surely not…? How are you viewing the rear clips, via the Porsche dashcam app...

The Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone is within the Silverstone circuit, so it’s very convenient for the Porsche Experience Center and also pretty cool if there’s anything happening on the track when you’re staying.
