Interesting. Battery was likely in mid to high 70s in temp (F) and 60s in %. Was NOT in sport mode. I wonder if there is a difference in mode (I would think flooring it maximizes power in either mode). Honestly it was like I put the pedal to the floor and nothing happened
Have to say I'm disappointed in the passing power of the Macan 4. Twice yesterday I tried to get past a jerk that didn't move over from the merging lane on the hwy and I didn't have nearly the juice I expected going from like 60mph to 75 or 80. I had a Cayenne S E-hybrid that would have left...
I got the rear camera recall notice in the mail today.
Has anyone had this work performed?
I'm almost afraid to mess with things as I don't have much problem with it.
Ok, so my Macan4 slams on the brakes and shifts to P when I am in reverse and turn to look out the rear window.
does it sense my looking away?
Does it force me to use the camera display?
what the heck?
On windy days I feel like I'm getting blown around on the highway more than expected.
The gap between the frunk and run lights seems excessive. Pictured but hard to see.
Anyone else feel like this is inattention to aerodynamics in a car that is designed to minimize drag?
Going back to your initial question it seems you can't power off with foot on the brake. Maybe that's why you had to push it twice. I like not using it at all but when I drive my wife's car she has to remind me to shut off the engine!
Closing in on 3000 miles and 2 months into a 39 mo lease.
I need to say a few things today:
-The headlights are too dim
-The windows open ridiculously slowly
-The hard plastic handles surrounding the cupholders (I have a leather package) are CHEAP
-The turn radius esp in reverse seems worse than...
Is there any benefit to letting the battery fall to a low SOC?
I rarely let it get much below 40% before charging to 80%.
(85 on days I know I'll drive 80-100 miles)
Also I plan to leave it plugged in to level 2 at 50 percent for a week unused. Does that sound like a good idea?
The "power meter" disappeared and I can't seem to get it back or even cause the HUD to change in any way despite configuring it from the PCM. Anyone else dealt with this?
Audio blasts occasionally at ear-splitting volumes (once from switching sources and once when i wiped the console and inadvertently spun the volume knob)
Is there a way to set a limit on max volume? I told myself I'd never buy another car that couldn't do this yet here I am.
Seems something goes wrong with the infotainment every few days. Either Sirius XM doesn't load or the sound cuts out or my phone disconnects and can't be discovered. Annoying!!!
