Have to say I'm disappointed in the passing power of the Macan 4. Twice yesterday I tried to get past a jerk that didn't move over from the merging lane on the hwy and I didn't have nearly the juice I expected going from like 60mph to 75 or 80. I had a Cayenne S E-hybrid that would have left those cars in the dust.

What was the battery charge and temperature … also in what mode were you … I would guess that the cars mention do not differ that much in power delivery.
I have big swings in, maybe perceived, difference in power delivery when battery is not over 50% and is not warm …

Interesting. Battery was likely in mid to high 70s in temp (F) and 60s in %. Was NOT in sport mode. I wonder if there is a difference in mode (I would think flooring it maximizes power in either mode). Honestly it was like I put the pedal to the floor and nothing happened

That is normal, I did a pull to 75mph in the 4 demo and ordered the 4S on the spot (they did not have 4S demo, I found the 4 tame).
Official stats below for 0-200 with LC unfortunately so far off reality but still solid comparison between the models:
4 -> 19
4S -> 14.3
Turbo -> 11.7
No difference in power between normal & sport, normal is rwd, sport is awd, sharper throttle response & lower suspension but when you’re foot to the floor you’re 100% throttle and using both motors.

Max torque in an electric motor is at zero rpm; max torque in an ICE is at mid-to-high rpm. Might be a factor.

I think that’s a strong reason to immediately trade your 4 for a Turbo! ;)

My 4 (2024) has the Chrome package, which, on paper, doesn't offer any extra performance. However, I can honestly say I've never experienced a lack of power, even when accelerating from 65 mph to 80 or 90 mph. Once, on a highway in Mexico, an Audi S8 (V8 563 hp) tried to pass me. I saw it in my mirrors going 136 mph. I understand why some people say the 4 lacks power compared to the Turbo or 911 Turbo S. But the way you describe it, I would definitely recommend taking the car to the dealer to have it checked out.
