Only one person that gave me their own intial driving positive impressions since picking up their GTS a few days ago - he describes it as “a different level” better than the Turbo
Yeah I suspect that much :)

I was set to replace my Macan with Taycan and at the last moment before order I decided to wait for the GTS to give it a try as I suspect it can be best of both worlds. I'm very curious how this suspension setup changes how this car behaves, I've not had any experience with any previous SUVs in GTS variants.

This is how it is in the marketing speak:

I've already got into trouble scraping the front lip on the Turbo and had it repaired and PPF'ed, another 10mm means that would happen even more often.

Do/Did you not use the lift function or high level function??

Yes
I think it works well.

I've seen the same colour on Panameras, Taycans and 911s but it particularly suits the Macan EV.
Yes I agree, its a great colour although the side profile really looks like my current EV (mach-e in Grabber blue) although slightly darker.

The interior racetex blue looks better than the configurator and the lugano blue seatbelts really stand out

I opted for body coloured door mirrors on my GTS order but maybe i should change it to glossy black 🤔

Thanks, nice to see some pics at last!! ...but I have even more blue's now :/ - informed the OPC today that I need to kick the can down the road on the Macan (house move I wasn't expecting), so Lugano will have to wait for me...(my man math has been working overtime the last week to make it work but I'll have to postpone a few months at least)... shame given it's just about to turn up at the OPC, and I didn't even get to see it in person!

FWIW - I prefer the contrast of black mirrors, feels better balanced if you like a bit of contrast, too much blue for me otherwise, but then I think I feel that way about the sport design pack and side skirts too so make of that what you will, lol - I honestly think the car looks great either way.

I've always gone body coloured on my Porsches except for my current 911 which is Slate Grey Neo with gloss black Sports Design Pack and the mirrors are gloss black on the bottom half only. To finish it off I have the model name in gloss black. Looks pretty mean.

I find the body colour mirrors makes for a more homogeneous look and positively detest gloss black door handles.

Generally unless you PPF black gloss it wears quite quickly and have to be extra careful with cleaning etc.

After also optioning the Sports design pack im worried that with all the black gloss its starting to look more and more like my car thats on the way out…😜

Thats a shame mate, however best things come to those who wait n all that.

Ive done alot of man maths myself for this car was originally looking at the new IX3 would far cheaper & more sensible but life is too short eh!

I would consider changing to high gloss black side blades also

Never been a fan of the side blades and feel like if they were body coloured as standard only a very small minority would actually add them, beauty is in the eye though.
Me neither I also prefer body coloured most of the time, I just feel some colours work better with them in HGB (when the lower trim and mirrors are HGB)

Yeh its the stealthy look i suppose, im still tempted to remove the Sport design pack due to the HGB side skirts and wheel arches but love the body coloured front lip/rear details.

Ooooooh it was the HGB lower trim that made me choose the Turbo!
